VCDL-PAC had a problem. And what a wonderful problem it was!

In a field of nine candidates, there were eight jewels and a lump of coal.

Which jewel shines the brightest? There was a time, not so long ago,
when the number of good answers on a VCDL survey were the difference
between endorsing and not endorsing.

Oh, how things have changed, and for the better!

VCDL-PAC recognizes ALL these candidates for their strong pro-gun
stance: Scott Lingamfelter, Steve Martin, Susan Stimpson, E.W. Jackson,
Corey Stewart, Pete Snyder, Mark Obenshain, and Rob Bell. We are
grateful to them all for standing up and going on record.

At the end of the day, what counts is action.

Two of these candidates have distinguished themselves for not only
voting well, but for actively carrying good bills. VCDL-PAC is most
grateful to candidates Stimpson, Jackson, Stewart, and Snyder for
standing up and declaring themselves. We are even more appreciative to
Senator Martin and Delegate Bell for the better part of two decades of
rock solid, reliable votes in favor of individual liberties, and to
Delegate Bell for truly excellent work in the Crime Commission.

In the end there is a difference between standing up to be counted, and
sticking your neck out. WAY OUT. Scott Lingamfelter and Mark Obenshain
have stuck their necks out long and often, going beyond voting on
pro-gun bills that come before them. Year after year, they have carried
tough pro-gun bills, win or lose, carrying heavy water for Virginia's
gun owners.

VCDL-PAC is proud to stand by those who have stood by us, time and
again. In a field of exceptional candidates,

are humbled by, and grateful for, those of you who have given, and have

a steep hill to climb, and those atop the hill are not giving up without
a fight. So be it.
