Help Us Secure Victory!

Team,

We have a huge deadline at midnight tonight and I'm humbly asking you if you could please donate to my campaign.

We're all working hard to get Bert Mizusawa for Senate, Rob Wittman, Jen Kiggans, and John McGuire elected and every dollar you send goes straight to our efforts to WIN on November 3rd!

Please click here to help us meet our goal before tonight's midnight deadline!

As a Navy SEAL veteran, I spent my life defending the freedoms that make America exceptional.

Results matter. In the General Assembly I passed bills every year where every Democrat and every Republican voted yes.

Now I’m continuing that mission in Congress for Virginia’s 5th District.

My Democrat opponent, Tom Perriello is pretending to be a moderate and is trying to trick you just like Spanberger and Mamdani. He is a radical leftist who was just endorsed by socialist AOC because he supports her agenda. He worked for George Soros and helped run his Open Society Foundation. He supports the job-killing climate change agenda of cap-and-trade, has dismissed the NRA as a “nut job extremist organization,” and cast the deciding vote for the unaffordable Obamacare disaster.

While my democrat opponent has spent his career advancing progressive causes, my team and I have delivered real results for Virginia’s 5th:

  • Successfully worked with Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao to secure Navy and Marine Corps ROTC for Liberty University, a goal pursued since 1971
  • Passed two bills out of the House with bipartisan support, including the Wintergreen Emergency Egress Act that the previous six VA 05 congressmen failed to advance even through subcommittee over 25 years
  • Returned more than $10 million owed by the federal government to people in our district
  • Helped negotiate $20 billion in investment for the district, including the Avio groundbreaking in Hurt just yesterday
  • Worked with Rubio and Hegseth to help 57 constituents from a Charlottesville church return home safely from Israel during ballistic missile attacks

We are just getting started.

This is the clear choice: proven leadership and constitutional values versus a radical progressive activist who instinctively prefers to support a riot rather than work hard to solve a problem.

Tonight is the deadline.

Please stand with me before midnight and make the strongest contribution you can. Every dollar fuels the final push to win Virginia’s 5th District and send a clear message that we will not surrender our freedoms.

Don't forget to get friends to vote by November 3rd. Thank you for your prayers, dedication, generosity, and unwavering faith in our cause. I look forward to continuing this journey with you.

WHAT VIRGINIANS ARE SAYING: State & Environmental Leaders Praise Governor Spanberger’s Plan to Hold Data Centers Accountable

Virginia’s New “Data Center Accountability Framework” Focuses on Increasing Transparency, Strengthening Environmental Protections, Lowering Energy Costs, Advancing Clean Energy, & Investing in Virginia’s Workforce

Former U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm: “This Framework Sets a New National Standard for the Durable, Community-Centered Policies Needed to Meet This Moment”

Sierra Club: “This Order Represents the Strongest Executive Action Taken on the Environmental Impacts of Data Centers in Virginia That We Have Ever Seen”

RICHMOND, VA — Governor Abigail Spanberger on Friday unveiled Virginia’s new Data Center Accountability Framework — what environmental advocacy groups and experts called the “strongest” and most “comprehensive” executive action on data center policy in Virginia history that sets a “new national standard.”

Governor Spanberger’s Framework is a detailed, wide-ranging plan for the Commonwealth to give communities transparent information and a voice in local approval, protect Virginians from higher energy bills, and enforce the strongest environmental standards for data centers in the nation. The Governor also signed Executive Order 22 to immediately implement many of the core pieces of her Data Center Accountability Framework.

What Virginians are saying:

  • Sierra Club [@SierraClub]: Big Tech has been given a free pass in Virginia for too long. We commend @GovernorVA for her bold action standing up for Virginians. This order represents the strongest executive action taken on the environmental impacts of data centers in Virginia that we have ever seen.

  • Scott Babwah Brennen, Director of the Center on Technology Policy at New York University in the Washington Post: I’m not sure I can think of another executive order I’ve seen that is as comprehensive as this.

  • Mike Town, Virginia League of Conservation Voters Executive Director in Politico: The political act that happened today sends a signal to all local officials and all legislators and all future candidates — that this issue is being taken seriously.

  • Connor Kish, Director of the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter in the Washington Sun: The world’s largest corporations are capable of doing better, and today marks a shift towards that accountability.

  • Jennifer Granholm, former U.S. Secretary of Energy, in a statement: This framework sets a new national standard for the durable, community-centered policies needed to meet this moment.

  • Emily Steinhilber, Virginia State Director at Environmental Defense Fund, in a statement: This framework outlines a path forward to protect communities from bearing pollution and costs from data centers, while leveraging this growth to catalyze cleaner, more affordable and reliable power.

  • Jane Flegal, Distinguished Fellow, University of Chicago [@JaneAFlegal]: Congratulations to @GovernorVA for announcing concrete requirements to ensure data centers benefit communities & our grid.

  • Jay Ford, Virginia Policy Manager at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation [@jaycford]: @GovernorVA is rolling out the most comprehensive & environmentally protective data center platform in the nation.

  • Jigar Shah, former Director of the Loan Programs Office at the U.S. Department of Energy [@Jigar Shah]: Governor Abigail Spanberger released her Data Center Accountability Framework, signed as Executive Order 22, which is a comprehensive framework that tries to address the whole system: transparency, environment, energy costs, clean energy, and workforce, all at once, with enforcement mechanisms attached to each.

  • Senator Jeremy McPike [@JeremyMcPike]: I applaud the Governor for taking the bold step to redefine Virginia’s approach to data centers and address the significant impact they have had on our environment and communities across Virginia. A new approach is necessary to put Virginians and our neighborhoods first.

  • Senator Schuyler VanValkenburg [@ScVanValkenburg]: I thank Governor Spanberger for her executive order and this nation-leading framework to protect families, our environment, and the reliability of our energy system.

  • Senator Michael Jones [@thedrmikejones]: Governor Spanberger’s announcement is a good first step. Greater transparency, stronger local oversight, and protections for our communities and ratepayers are critical.

  • Senator Stella Pekarsky [@sgpekarsky]: We will hold this industry, which has enjoyed decades long prosperity in Va, accountable. Excited to partner with @GovernorVA to ensure VA is a national leader. There is much work ahead!

  • Delegate Rip Sullivan [@RipSullivan6]: @GovernorVA today announced one of the strongest data center regulation frameworks in the country. Having advocated and legislated in this space for many years, I welcome her support and leadership to help make transformative progress.

  • Delegate Alfonso Lopez [@Lopez4VA]: The Governor’s action is a very positive step forward for any Virginian who values environmental protection & clean energy. Virginia is now at the forefront of the nation in data center regulations. I’m excited to work w/ the Governor to pass meaningful legislation on this issue.

  • Delegate May Nivar [@MayforVA]: Today, Governor Spanberger outlined a new approach to data center accountability in Virginia, focused on greater transparency, stronger environmental protections, affordable and reliable energy, and creating opportunities for Virginia workers.

  • Delegate Shelly Simonds [@shelly_simonds]: They are taking this seriously, thank you.

  • Third Way [@ThirdWayTweet]: Governor Spanberger is showing the country what responsible leadership on data centers looks like.

  • U.S. Congressman Eugene Vindman [@RepVindman]: Yesterday, @GovernorVA announced one of the most comprehensive data center accountability frameworks in the nation. Democrats are leading to make sure that data centers pay their fair share and are transparent.

BACKGROUND

The Governor’s Data Center Accountability Framework builds on Governor Spanberger’s previous work to make sure data centers pay their fair share for energy and protect Virginia ratepayers. Earlier this year, the Governor proposed and signed into law the nation’s first statewide energy consumption tax on data centers.

The Governor also successfully urged the SCC to require data centers to pay for transmission infrastructure built exclusively for their operations — saving Virginia families hundreds of millions of dollars. Finally, the Governor signed into law more than a dozen bills to enforce stricter requirements on backup generators, tighten water usage rules, and give local leaders more tools to assess the impacts of data centers.

Governor Spanberger Announces Phasecraft to Establish U.S. Headquarters in Arlington

British Quantum Computing Software Company Will Create 19 Jobs in Arlington County

RICHMOND, VA — Governor Abigail Spanberger today announced that Phasecraft — a leading quantum algorithms company — plans to create 19 new jobs through a $113,000 investment in Arlington County. Founded by researchers from the United Kingdom’s quantum science community, Phasecraft develops algorithms for quantum computers. Their solutions have applications in pioneering areas including materials simulation, chemical reaction modeling, and optimization, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical quantum computing and tangible industrial applications.

“Virginia continues to grow as a global hub for cutting-edge companies and groundbreaking technologies,” said Governor Abigail Spanberger. “I’m thrilled to welcome Phasecraft to the Commonwealth and look forward to seeing all they accomplish as they grow and build on Virginia’s world-class innovation ecosystem. This investment will create new high-tech jobs, attract other leading companies to Virginia, and strengthen the Commonwealth’s growing role in bringing next-generation technologies to market.”

Governor Spanberger recently celebrated Virginia’s rise to #3 in CNBC’s “America’s Top States for Business” rankings, reflecting a strong business climate that continues to attract high-caliber companies to the Commonwealth. Since taking office, Governor Spanberger has announced more than $5 billion in new business investment and more than 3,200 new jobs across the Commonwealth.

“Quantum computing has the potential to transform industries from energy to advanced materials, and Phasecraft’s work sits at the center of that opportunity,” said Secretary of Commerce and Trade Carrie Chenery. “By choosing Northern Virginia to anchor its U.S. footprint, Phasecraft gains access to the talent, federal partners, research assets, and customer base needed to scale cutting-edge technology from breakthrough science into practical solutions.”

“Phasecraft’s new Arlington HQ represents a significant milestone for the company. As our work with agencies across the U.S. government and the private sector continues to grow, so too will our American workforce,” said Phasecraft Cofounder and CEO Ashley Montanaro. “We’re thrilled to now call Virginia home as the company continues to grow rapidly.”

Through the establishment of its Virginia office, Phasecraft aims to reach new clients and benefit from proximity to stakeholders in industry and government. The company cited Virginia’s skilled workforce, world-class research universities, and strategic location as key decision factors in this investment.

Phasecraft’s new office and continued U.S. expansion follows their growing partnerships across the federal government and agencies. Earlier this year, Phasecraft announced the company joined the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) program to help answer the question “Is utility-scale quantum computing possible by 2033?” As part of QBI, Phasecraft will leverage its proprietary software and algorithms to inform verification and validation efforts. Around the same time, the Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy announced that Phasecraft was selected for their Quantum Computing for Computational Chemistry program, to develop highly optimized quantum algorithms for simulating and discovering new advanced catalysts for use in the energy sector.

“Arlington County welcomes British quantum computing company Phasecraft, which has selected Ballston for their U.S. headquarters,” said Arlington County Board Chairman Matt de Ferranti. “Phasecraft will join a growing number of international companies that have recently made Arlington their home due to direct access to unique assets like specialized talent, key federal agencies, and strong transit infrastructure.”

“I am delighted to welcome Phasecraft’s new U.S. headquarters to Arlington County,” said Senator Barbara A. Favola. “This expansion reflects the strategic investments by Arlington and the Commonwealth in building a talented workforce and creating an environment where businesses can grow and succeed. From our top-notch public education system and multi-modal transportation network to our commitment to lifelong learning, Arlington offers the infrastructure and quality of life that enables businesses and residents to thrive. I look forward to seeing Phasecraft call Arlington home and play an important role in protecting our national security.”

“We welcome Phasecraft's arrival in Arlington,” said Delegate Patrick Hope. “With their groundbreaking work in developing quantum algorithms for real-world advantage, they are a perfect fit for the region's vibrant tech ecosystem. Arlington continues to prove itself as a premier destination for next-generation technology and innovation.”

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Arlington County to secure the project for Virginia and will support Phasecraft’s job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), which provides consultative services and funding to companies creating new jobs in order to support employee recruitment and training activities. As a business incentive supporting economic development, VJIP reduces the human resource costs of new and expanding companies. VJIP is state funded, demonstrating Virginia’s commitment to enhancing job opportunities for citizens.
