Dear Colby,

We’re less than three weeks away from this year’s Convention

...and it’s shaping up to be the largest in recent years.

I’m sure you are already getting emails and phone calls from the nine other campaigns, so I’ll keep this email short and to the point.

Are you planning on attending the convention Friday? Are you willing to volunteer at the Convention?

It may not seem all that important, but Friday is when the rules committee will meet to approve the final rules for the convention, and it will be important that we have supporters there to ensure the rules are passed without issue. So if you are already planning on being in Richmond on Saturday, we need to know.

Next, while at the convention it can – at times – be difficult to know what exactly is going on. To make sure you don’t miss any votes or important speeches, our campaign will be sending out text updates during the convention to keep delegates informed.

We’ll also be offering a behind the scene look at the convention activities and prizes throughout the day. Make sure we have your mobile phone number so we can easily contact you.

Lastly, we’re going to need the help of volunteers to make sure the day runs smoothly. If you would be able to help out on Friday or Saturday at the Convention please let us know.
