20-20...
That's not just the breakdown of Republicans and Democrats in our current Virginia Senate. It's a reminder of the kind of clear vision we need from our next Lieutenant Governor, whose job is to break ties.
I understand first-hand the high stakes in this race for Virginia's next Lt. Governor represents, not least because I was elected the 20th and tie-breaking Senate Republican in 2009.
The fight for life, defending our God-given liberties, growing our economy... on issues like these, the direction of our Commonwealth may well rest in the hands of our next Lt. Governor.
I'm writing today to tell you that I'm putting my trust an entrepreneur, job-creator and conservative outsider Pete Snyder to be Ken Cuccinelli's running mate and help Ken and all our Republican candidates win in 2013.
Pete's a rock-solid conservative with a proven, 20-year record of working to advance our values, and he knows how important it is to win battles on issues like protecting innocent life and defending our right to keep and bear arms.
He's also the only proven job-creator in the race, and with all the polls showing Virginia voters overwhelmingly focused on creating jobs and growing our economy, we need Pete's real-world, private sector experience on our Republican ticket.
Pete knows how to get our economy growing in every part of the Commonwealth so our families can enjoy the economic security they've worked hard for and our children don't have to leave Virginia in search of opportunity.
