Each day, VPAP updates the lists of challenger announcements, primary races, open seats, and more. 2013 House Elections --------  INDEPENDENT EXPENDITURES Outside groups – working without the coordination or authorization of candidates – seeking to influence elections are beginning to become active in this year's races. VPAP shines light on where this money is coming from, and how it’s spent. Top Spending Groups --------  MCAULIFFE AND CUCCINELLI - TOGETHER VPAP’s annual fundraiser will feature a joint appearance by the two major party nominees for Governor. The May 30 luncheon in Richmond will offer a look at coming features at vpap.org. Limited number of tickets are available. All proceeds benefit VPAP. Event Details --------  GOP CONVENTION This weekend, VPAP will be on hand at the Republican state convention to spread the word about the latest transparency tools and to sign up subscribers for VaNews. Now that e-filing is nearly universal, the criteria for the Honor Roll will be expanded in July to include the quality and timeliness of reports.
