Friends, Del. Bob Purkey has done so much for Virginia Beach and the Republican Party, it would be hard to list every accomplishment. He helped build the Republican Party at a time when our numbers were small and grew the Party into a Virginia majority. When Del. Purkey endorsed me for Delegate, I knew I had earned the trust and confidence of a great man. I pledge to carry on the mission of both Del. Bob Purkey and Del. Bob Tata, who both express confidence in Scott Taylor for Delegate. It is with great respect for their leadership, character and friendship that I accept the responsibility of a new generation of leadership in state government.
