17-Year-Old Who Awoke From Coma Pregnant After a Violent Rape Bravely Rejects Abortion
In Australia, 17-year-old April-lee Gillen was found lying unconscious and critically injured beside a road after an attempted abduction. A motorist found Gillen and brought her to Wollongong Hospital, where she was treated for a broken angle, collapsed lung and bleeding on her brain.

Woman Arrested for Murder After Abandoning Her Newborn, Stray Dogs Ate The Baby
In Honduras, a 23-year-old woman has been charged with infanticide and abandoning a child after her newborn was left alone in a courtyard and eaten by stray dogs. The woman, Elda Esperanza Espino Garcia, lived alone and allegedly gave birth to the child behind a tree then left it alone while she returned to the house to get a blanket.

Authorities charged Brian D. Williams of Missouri Tuesday with four counts of murder in the deaths of three adults and an unborn baby. Maples’ unborn baby was estimated to be 7-8 weeks old. The baby died as “a result of being suffocated from Maples sustaining trauma from the gunshots.”
