About the Keynote Speaker Jill Stanek, a Labor & Delivery registered nurse, learned that abortions were being performed at her hospital and that babies surviving the procedure were laid aside to die without medical care. After a night of cradling a dying 21-22 week old Down Syndrome baby who had survived an abortion, Jill decided that was enough. Jill confronted the hospital’s leaders and when they refused to make changes, she went public with her story. Jill continued her employment at the hospital believing her position as an insider uniquely equipped her to bring about change. However in 2001, Jill’s employment was terminated due to her outspokenness on abortion. Undaunted, Jill moved from her role as nurse to that of blogger, columnist, and speaker. She is a frequent commentator in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post, as well as a guest on The O’Reilly Factor, CNN, and many more. Because of her many accomplishments, it is no surprise that the News Real Blog recently named her one of the “Top Ten Enemies the Pro-Abortion Left Fears.” ** Please forward this e-mail to friends and family who you think are interested in issues affecting traditional values and encourage them to sign up for alerts at www.votervoice.net/core.aspx?APP=Registration&AID=334&SiteID=-1 **
