Antique motor vehicles; exhaust systems. Exempts antique motor vehicles from the requirement that motor vehicles have exhaust systems of a type installed as standard factory equipment. The bill retains the requirement that their exhaust systems be in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual levels of noise.

 

I suggested to Delegate Fariss that the language needed to be changed so that aftermarket exhaust systems are legal in Virginia. Apparently he decided to do so only for antique vehicles. Fred
