Delaware ADA Releases Legislator Report Card As Americans for Democratic Action national continues to compile the most critical votes of the First Session of the 113th Congress, ADA's Delaware Chapter has released its first legislator report card. This report card will serve as a guide for judging which Members of the 147th Delaware General Assembly act as champions of social and economic justice issues and which ones are blocking our work to enact progressive legislation to benefit the State of Delaware. Check it out for yourself here. Election Day tomorrow for Virginia and New Jersey Don’t forget that tomorrow is Election Day in New Jersey and Virginia. If you’re a VA or NJ resident, or if you have friends and family who live there, please remind them to vote! Virginia voters will choose a new Governor, Lieutenant Government and Attorney General, as well as all 100 seats of the Virginia House of Delegates, the lower house of the Virginia General Assembly. New Jersey voters will elect a Governor and determine who will control the NJ Legislature. All 120 seats in the NJ legislature are up for election, and there is an important ballot question (Question No. 2) on a Constitutional Amendment to set a State Minimum Wage With Annual Cost-of-Living Increases. Noteworthy: - For over three decades, workers’ rights and workers’ living standards have been eroding. The growing inequality in the United States is not a natural outgrowth of changing technology, or lagging in workers’ skills.
