Sleep on this...
Friends-
Tomorrow is Election Day. When you vote, you will be deciding both the fate of this Commonwealth and, yes, the nation as well.
Virginia is the number 1 state in the nation for businesses. And we got that way by being led with a Republican Governor and Republican House of Delegates in the General Assembly. Don't confuse us with Washington - 90 miles makes a big difference. In a 60-day General Assembly session, we will consider 3,000 bills, produce a balanced budget, and follow the Constitution as the law of our land. And when we get home, we live under the same laws we write for everybody else. We need to keep it that way. We won't keep it that way by voting for Democrats who will make Richmond just like Washington. And if they gain control in Virginia, the nation will continue to spiral down.
I want you to sleep on this thought. The same people-the far left media-who told you that President Obama and his liberal polices, including ObamaCare, were good for America; the same people who have been telling you to look the other way on Benghazi, the IRS targeting of conservatives, and the NSA overreach; the same people who tell you that all we need is to spend more to restore our economy are the very same people who tell you now that Terry McAuliffe is the answer for Virginia. He isn't. Nor is the Independent in this race.
There are three things you need to ask yourself.
- Does the future Governor have the experience to lead this Commonwealth?
- Does the future Governor have the integrity to lead this Commonwealth?
- Will the future Governor respect the Constitution of this Commonwealth and the nation?
I know some folks are not happy with the choices at the top of the ticket in Virginia. Got it. But as a combat veteran and a legislator for 13 years, I can tell you that there is only one man running in Virginia this year that meets this test. It's Ken Cuccinelli. McAuliffe fails miserably at all three of these considerations and the independent, Mr. Sarvis, is equally unready for the challenge.
Those of you who trust my views on things, I hope you will think about what is about to happen tomorrow. Your vote has never been more important to Virginia. Consider these questions when you enter that voting booth and please vote conservative. Sleep well and vote smart!
