Dear Friends,

Please help me restore concealed carry rights in Virginia's public buildings, parks, colleges and universities!

My
HB 132 says that if a citizen with a valid concealed carry permit is injured or killed as a result of the action of a third party in a building, park or other facility owned by the Commonwealth where carrying concealed has been prohibited by Governor Terry McAuliffe's recent executive order 50, that the state will be liable for the cost of the damages to that individual plus an additional $350,000.

Similarly, my
HB 133 says that if a citizen with a valid concealed carry permit is injured or killed as a result of the action of a third party in a property or facility owned by a public college or university which prohibits the carrying of a concealed weapon, that the college or university will be liable for the cost of the damages to that individual plus an additional $350,000.

Please contact the members of the
General Laws Committee using the email link here or clicking the committee link to get phone numbers.  The General Laws Committee will hear the bills tomorrow, February 4th in the afternoon and ask them to support my legislation to eliminate "gun-free zones" in our state owned spaces.

Thank you for your help and support!

Sincerely,

Delegate Bob Marshall
