Please join me, along with Bishop E.W. Jackson, The Family Foundation, the Virginia Catholic Conference, the Virginia Society for Human Life and many others as we stand for women and the unborn at the Board of Health meeting this Thursday, December 4 at 8 a.m. The Board of Health will be voting on a proposal to weaken the life-saving health and safety regulations for abortion centers. These regulations have only been in place a couple of years and inspections have already found over 400 violations. That's 400 too many! The regulations were the result of legislation agreed upon by the General Assembly and signed into law by Governor McDonnell to ensure that abortion centers in Virginia are sanitary and furnished with life saving equipment. It is important that these regulations remain as they are. The meeting will be held at 9960 Mayland Drive in Henrico. The zip is 23233. I hope you will join us there to take a stand and insist the existing regulations remain. I look forward to seeing you there! |
