Momentum

Convention of States Project
Friends,

Convention of States is building momentum. We have made such progress in recent months. Mark Levin has endorsed COS and is on our Legal Board of Reference.  The Jefferson Statement (a summary of why COS is the best way to save our nation, and why an Article V Convention is safe) has been endorsed by an impressive list of constitutional law scholars, and more are joining the list of endorsers. Twenty Nine States have Legislative Sponsors, including three that have already pre-filed our application. The Convention of States is going to happen, and I hope you will join us in the effort.

Virginia now has thirty three District Captains. That means thirty three men and women have stepped forward to volunteer to lead in their voting districts. I hope more of you are out there to join this list, as Virginia has one hundred voting house districts. I am asking everyone to please contact their State  Senator and Delegate and ask them to vote for the HJ497 Convention of States Project, in the 2015  General Assembly. This is the greatest way you can contribute to our cause.  With your help we will make Convention of States a success.

I am including the link to todays COS News Page for you to read two of the articles, so you will feel the spirit of what is happening with Convention of States. I hope after you do so, you will sign our petition, and if you have already done so, get your friends to sign up as well to save  our country.
