Dear Conservative: President Obama said, "I may not be on the ballot this year, but every single one of my policies are on the ballot." He just made an excellent case for why conservatives need to turn out and vote in 2014, but we need your help to get the word out. Conservative U.S. Senate candidates Joni Ernst (R-IA), Tom Cotton (R-AR), Rob Maness (R-LA), and Ben Sasse (R-NE) need us right now ... as do conservative U.S. House candidates Dave Brat (R-VA), Zach Dasher (R-LA), and Alex Mooney (R-WV). They are all battling the Obama turnout machine right now, as the Democrats pull every trick they have in the bag to get their base out. This is crunch time! Millions have been spent on TV ads, the mail has been sent, most of the fights have been had in the press. Undecided voters are breaking, and soft Republicans are trying to decide whether they're going to turn out or not. We have to let these folks who are still on the fence about voting know that this is their chance to change Washington. It's true that the President is massively unpopular, and that Independents are breaking against Democrats, but the Democrats have one last hope: the incredible Obama turnout machine that propelled him to victory. The Democrats have more than a dozen field offices in Iowa and Arkansas. They have spent millions on their ground operation because they know it might be their last shot at helping Harry Reid keep his grip on power. There's good news though: We're fighting back! Our candidates are spending most of their resources on TV ads, trying to keep up with the massive barrage of attack ads coming from the Democrats. They need help on the turnout side, making sure that every Republican turns out, including those who don't typically vote in mid-term elections. Here's a number for you to consider: There are over 53,800 "Soft Republicans" in Iowa alone. By "soft" I mean they voted in the presidential election, but they don't usually vote in midterm elections. We know they are Republicans, we know they reject the President and his agenda, and we know that if they turn out, they will vote for Joni Ernst ... but we have to turn them out for her. We are calling them, begging, cajoling, persuading, doing whatever it takes to let them know that the future of this country is at stake and they need to vote and secure America's future. That's why we need you to help us fund this final turnout operation. Our automated calls run on average at about two and a half cents a piece so your donation of $25 will be spent directly on calling 1,000 Republican voters. If you give $100, we will call 4,000 Republicans. This is incredible bang for your buck, and it could be the difference between winning and losing. We're also doing live, professional calls, which while costly are even more effective. Your donation of $40 today will help us make 100 personal calls to Republicans voters. If you give $400, we can have our turnout specialists call 1,000 voters who will decide the outcome of many of these races. Working together, we can turn out over 320,000 Republican voters in key races where SCF has a conservative candidate on the ballot. We don't want to wake up on Wednesday and find out that one of them narrowly lost and wish we had done more to help. That's why we're working hard in the final days and taking nothing for granted. Please chip in $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can right now. It's not too late. We're making calls right now and the more money we raise today, the more voters we can turn out on Tuesday. Thank you for supporting our candidates and for understanding that change in Washington means changing the people we send there. Sincerely, Ken Cuccinelli II President, Senate Conservatives Fund Former Attorney General of Virginia P.S. Please forward this email to your family and friends so they can help us take America back!
