Late Night Budget Fights and Running for Congress...

Dear Friends,  First, I know this is a late e-mail, but I have been in Richmond fighting the battle against the unsustainable Medicaid expansion in the budget that Democrats, and yes, even some Republicans want to pass. Here's a video of my floor speech about this. We will be in session tomorrow on Saturday but I wanted to send you an update before the weekend. I’ll be brief. I want to take our message of serious conservatism to Washington D.C. That’s why, if you haven’t heard, I’ve tossed my hat into the ring for the 10th Congressional seat in VA. You can read my full announcement here. This election will come quickly. In fact, it's Saturday, April 26 with polls opening at 10 AM - 3 PM! It’s a party canvass with only ten voting locations. I’ll send more on that later but, I wanted to ask if you could do two things for me, 1) commit to vote and 2) donate $10 today. I cannot take our fight to a national level unless I have folks like you supporting me, or the funds to buy campaign materials. We need serious change in D.C. but that starts in our counties, our schools, our social groups, our district, and ultimately our precincts. Let's make that change, let's restore our republic!
