Robert --
The governor promised to veto legislation that protects the right of children to pray, form prayer groups, and wear religious clothing in schools.
Mr. Governor, what threat is a child who lives his or her life as a response to God?
The Family Foundation will fight this hostility towards religion and override the Governor!
Will you pitch in with an immediate contribution of $100 or more to make it happen?
Right now, we're phoning 70,000 supporters, asking them to call the governor's office, telling him to protect our freedom of speech and religion.
If the governor ignores our plea, we have many friends in the legislature who love freedom and the First Amendment and will work with us -- even if they disagree with us on other issues.
Here's the proof:
Last Thursday, we defeated the governor's progressive amendment that would have weakened conscience protections in the licensure of genetic counselors.
Friend, we won because we're able to work with legislators who share the same party as the governor! They know that ideologues from the left are going too far to enact their secular, extremist vision on Virginia.
Delegate Dave LaRock said, "The Family Foundation is one of the most effective and well organized groups in Virginia; always right on the front line fighting for traditional values."
But protecting our freedom from the secularist onslaught is very expensive. And we don't yet have the number of legislators required to override a potential veto.
Will you keep us working closely with legislators to protect our freedom of speech by clicking and following this link to donate $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or even $1,000?
I hope and pray that you will.
Send a powerful message that the governor's radical agenda on Virginia and the faithful will not succeed without a fight!
Can I depend on you to support The Family Foundation as we work with legislators to protect our religious freedom?
The vote will take place in only a few weeks. I need all hands on deck if we're going to succeed. Please donate, right now.
