Michele Blair, Sage's Mom Appomattox County, VA

Dear Friend,

I am honored to receive the endorsement of Sage's mom Michele Blair of Appomattox County, VA for my race for State Senate District 10. We worked together on a bill I chief co-patroned to require schools inform parents when their children indicate they are a different gender. The Democrat State Senate then killed this bill because they believe schools know better than parents and because they believe parents do not have their children's best interest in mind. I gave much testimony on this bill. I also said in Senate Education Committee, no bill, or law, or government entity will ever love a child more than their parents. As your State Senator, I will make sure we pass this bill into law to inform parents and ensure we fully support parental rights.

“I heartily endorse John McGuire for Virginia Senate as a strong leader for protecting children and families. As a Delegate in the recent session of the Assembly, John played an important role in helping pass Sage's Law through the House. Sage's Law protects children and parental rights, and was named after our daughter, who suffered terrible abuse and was sex trafficked after her high school concealed from us her claim to be a different gender identity at school. I testified in the Virginia Assembly about the horrific domino effect of that deceit. Sage's story and a discussion of Sage's Law can be read here. John was a Chief co-patron of Sage's Law and his strong work in the hearing helped ensure passage by the House. Sadly, Sage's Law was killed in the Senate by Democrats, meaning that children remain at great risk. I want John McGuire in the Senate because he is resolved to pass Sage's Law and protect other children from the nightmare she suffered.”
