AIf a bearded and unkempt burlap-shod stranger draped in kelp, was suddenly regurgitated by a large fish onto the shore Miami Beach, what would his his message to the American people be? Would he be preach, "Yet forty or ninety days and America shall be overthrown?" or "Yet one more election, and America shall be overthrown? Contemporary prophetic voices have been warning that our nation is at a final tipping point. What is a "tipping point?" According to Merriam-Webster online, the noun "tipping-point" refers to "the critical point in a situation, process, or system beyond which a significant and often unstoppable effect or change takes place."
In a July 7, 1775 letter to his wife, Abigail, John Adams wrote:
... Cities may be rebuilt, and a People reduced to Poverty, may acquire fresh Property: But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever. When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it."
In recent elections, roughly four in nine evangelicals did not vote. If this trend is repeated on November 3, 2020 (Election Day), religious freedom, indeed all of our Natural rights, which have under continuous assault for decades, will disappear overnight. New laws passed by the Virginia General Assembly this year will affect your congregation.
Bob Good, candidate for Congress in the Fifth Congressional District, is concerned about the impact these new laws will have on places of worship, Christian day care centers, church employment practices, and the preaching of God's word.
On August 18, 19, and 20, Bob has asked several speakers to provide pastors and a key members of their congregations with current information regarding:

Pastors need to arm themselves with knowledge about the new laws in Virginia, which are certain to have an impact on them and their churches. The new laws, which were passed by a Democratic majority in the House of Delegates, and signed into law by Governor Ralph Northam, are certain to have a negative impact on you, your church, church buildings, and your day-to-day activities. Preparations must be made now. for it is only a matter of time before your church is embroiled in"law-fare."
Candidate Bob Good is running for Congress in Virginia's Fifth Congressional District to unseat moderate Republican Representative, Denver Riggleman, who has been a disappointment to say the least. Bob is concerned about the readiness of pastors and their churches in the new litigious climate when every inequity seems to be labeled "racism," and other measures designed to undermine the Church.
We cannot allow these certain attacks to go unchallenged. Again, pastors must be prepared!
