Nancy Dye endorses Suzanne Obenshain for RNC National Committeewoman. |
| Dear Fellow Republicans, It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse Suzanne Obenshain for the position of National Committeewoman on the Republican National Committee. I have know Suzanne for years and worked beside her in various capacities. She has been a trusted colleague and good friend. Suzanne and I served on the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors together. In that capacity, I came to know her as a public servant committed to the best interests of Virginia families and higher education. She is not afraid to ask difficult questions or cast a tough vote. Always prepared and fully informed on important issues, she brought a keen sense of insight when evaluating the consequences of our decisions. Her business background adds to her understanding of issues involving our future both as a Commonwealth and National party. As a wife and mother, her commitment to that future is strong and rooted in the values necessary to promote a common sense conservative approach. Republicans across Virginia join me in recognizing her many years of service and deep commitment to Conservative Principles in our Commonwealth. From her time at Virginia Tech in the College Republicans to campaigning throughout Virginia for her husband, Mark, Suzanne has faithfully served our party. She has worked tirelessly as a local chairman and member of the City Electoral Board in Harrisonburg. Because Suzanne is well known and respected throughout the Commonwealth, she will immediately be an effective advocate for Virginia. She has been a valuable grassroots organizer and advisor to many campaigns throughout the Commonwealth. Suzanne's involvement with College and Young Republicans—in official capacities and as an encourager behind the scenes—has truly grown our party. Suzanne is firmly rooted in the Conservative Republican values we must seek to protect and promote at the national level. It is without hesitation—and if fact with great confidence—that I ask for your support of her candidacy. Please plan to attend the Convention at James Madison University on April 30 as a Delegate and join me in voting for Suzanne Obenshain to be our next RNC National Committeewoman! I look forward to casting my vote with you for Suzanne! Nancy V. Dye 2015 State Senate Candidate, District 21 Roanoke, Virginia | |
