Dear friends and voters in Virginia's 1st Congressional District, 2014 is a critical year for the future of our country and our Republican Party. Recently, we focused much attention on selecting a Republican nominee to challenge liberal Senator Mark Warner. Remember Mark Warner? The Senator who pledged that we could keep the health insurance plan we like? We all now recognize Mark Warner's broken promise and his willingness to walk in lockstep with President Obama. If you need a reminder, please check out this short video clip. After watching Mark Warner, we clearly understand the importance of electing representatives who truly listen to their constituents. For that reason, I ask you to cast your vote in the June 10 primary for my friend Rob Wittman. I've known Rob for years, and I can attest to the fact that he genuinely cares about the interests and opinions of his constituents. You can ask Rob any question and be confident that he will take the time to answer you and take into account your perspective. Since he was first elected to serve us in 2007, Rob has tirelessly advocated for the conservative values and issues that matter to the people of the 1st District. Rob understands the priorities of his constituents, and more importantly, he truly listens. Rob is steadfast in his support for us and will continue fighting to keep the policies of the current administration from negatively affecting the people of our great Commonwealth. For more information about Rob's priorities and accomplishments, please visit www.RobWittman.com. Rob Wittman faces a primary challenger tomorrow, June 10. I strongly believe that we need a representative like Rob to continue fighting for us in Washington, and I urge you to cast your vote for him. Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and you will vote at your normal polling location. Click HERE if you are not sure where to vote. Your active participation in the legislative process is an asset to our system of governance. I appreciate your involvement, and I look forward to seeing you soon! |
