Toblerone chocolates were used by the Germans to gain favor with some French women during World War II. Nylons persuaded others to cohabitate with a ruthless enemy that had invaded their cities. During treacherous times some went into survival mode at the expense of their neighbors and their country. Others acquiesced to chocolates and nylons, patriotism be hanged. Many, as a result, were left haunted during their lifetimes by the betrayal of their country. OBAMA’S DREAMS
After reading Barack Obama's book "Dreams from My Father," it became painfully clear that he has not been searching for the truth, because he assumed from an early age that he had already found the truth -- and now it was just a question of filling in the details and deciding how to change things. Obama did not simply happen to encounter a lot of people on the far left fringe during his life. As he spells out in his book, he actively sought out such people. There is no hint of the slightest curiosity on his part about other visions of the world that might be weighed against the vision he had seized upon. As Professor Richard Epstein of the University of Chicago Law School has pointed out, Obama made no effort to take part in the marketplace of ideas with other faculty members when he was teaching a law course there. What would be the point, if he already knew the truth and knew that they were wrong?

NATIONAL DEBT HITS $16 TRILLION ON OPENING OF DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION
When Barack Obama took office in January of 2009, the national debt was $10.6 trillion. The debt held by the public sector was $6.3 trillion. Obama promised to lower the national debt during his presidency. Three years, seven months and fifteen days later, as of today, the national debt tops $16 trillion. The debt held by the public sector is now around $11 trillion. In a matter of 1,323 days, the Obama administration has accounted for a 51% increase in the national debt and 75% increase in the debt held by the public sector. Obama is the 44th person to hold the office of President of the United States. His increases in both debt categories are more than all of the previous 43 presidents before him.

DOES OBAMA REALLY HATE AMERICA?
Anti-colonialism in the White House would dramatically affect a president’s foreign policy: He would show sympathy for the Palestinians, for example, as the poor neighbors to Israeli “occupiers”; he would show animosity toward the British Empire; he would seek to redistribute the wealth and power of Western nations around the world; he would resent any superpower and weaken it militarily. Economically, he would increase his country’s indebtedness to the rest of the world, stop the U.S. from developing natural resources – like oil, for example – and encourage, say, South American nations to drill instead. He might even demand the U.S. stop leading the world in, say, space exploration, and build up the scientific communities of third world nations instead.
