While campaigning all over the place, I am keeping my ears open and listening to your ideas on how we can improve Virginia. To all my fellow veterans, thank you for your service to our country. Don't forget freedom isn't free and don't forget Veterans Day is coming up soon and will be celebrated on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at 11am. Click here for more | | Song of the Day, Norman Greenbaum - Spirit In The Sky (1970) | | Deadly Overdose Epidemic (Chinese Poison) | | We have an overdose epidemic in our Commonwealth and across our country. Sadly, I have knocked on several doors where parents cried while telling me stories of their son or daughter dying of an overdose. This fentanyl (Chinese poison) is coming across our southern border and making every state a border state. Thankfully my bill to allow school nurses in Virginia to store and administer Narcan or naloxone became law with the help of many fellow legislators and a Goochland teacher Jennifer Waggener in 2019 and has been saving lives across Virginia ever since. Sadly another one of my bills, a bill to charge drug dealers with felony homicide has failed in the House three times due to Democrats caring more about criminals than victims.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday that nine students at Park View High school in Sterling overdosed, and four of those overdoses happened inside the school. Eight of those overdoses occurred in the last three weeks. Again, in Loudoun County, there was a failure to inform parents when their children were harmed.
Thank you Governor Youngkin for issuing an Executive Order related to the nine student overdoses in Loudoun County. School divisions must now notify parents within 24 hours of a school-connected student overdose incident. We will continue the fight. My bill to stiffen felony penalties for those who participate in trafficking humans and especially children was killed by the Democrats.
Human Trafficking is a 150 billion dollar a year business. The United States is among the largest consumers of the unbelievable evil of child sex.
There are more humans trapped in slavery today than any other time in history - including when slavery was legal.
Millions of these slaves are children.
| | Bibi says "No Cease Fire Until Hostages Returned" | | Israel is fighting for her survival after the terrorist organization, Hamas, committed unspeakable acts of evil during a surprise attack in Israel on October 7. Just like the United States has a right to defend our people, Israel has a right to defend her people. Bibi says there will be no cease fire until all hostages are returned. I absolutely agree with this. | | Date Night at the Goochland vs Louisa Fooball Game | | After a busy week on the campaign trail, my best friend and I did football, a dinner, and a movie! It was great seeing so many friends at the game. I am looking forward to continuing to represent Goochland County and Louisa County! | | Vote to Re-elect Angela Allen Goochland School Board! | | Yesterday was a fun day, meeting with constituents all over the district. I met this farmer in Hanover County yesterday and I thanked him for voting Republican! Thank you to our farmers for all you do to keep us fed. This is the most agricultural and forest impactful district in Virginia! | | Captain Howard Gregory Retired, VA State Police Division Commander, Appomattox County. Thank you for your service and thank you for your endorsement Sir! | | Always great to see our friends at Granny Bee's American Restaurant in Appomattox County! | | Yesterday I got an early start to the day by waving at cars in Appomattox County.
