VCDL Board Member, Patricia Webb, will be addressing the Fredericksburg Va. Patriots Tea Party at their general membership meeting in Fredericksburg on Sunday March 22, from 2:00 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the: Crossroads Baptist Church 4236 Lee Hill School Drive Fredericksburg, Va. 22408 Pat will review the firearm legislation passed in the 2020 legislative session and there will be time for some questions and answers. She will also discuss how you can take immediate action in protecting your right to keep and bear arms. This meeting is open to the general public and we encourage everyone to attend. 3. VCDL Board Member Pat Webb has been invited by the Louisa Constitutional Defense League to discuss the firearm related legislation recently passed in the Virginia General Assembly. Help needed: Richmond gun show on March 28 and 29
The next gun show in Richmond is March 28-29, 2020 at the Richmond Raceway Complex. This is the first Richmond gun show since the Lobby Day. The fight for our 2A Rights is not over! The anti-gun legislators and their supporters will be back with a vengeance to complete their objective to disarm all law abiding Virginians. We need members to staff VCDL tables, talk to show attendees, sign up attendees to receive VA-ALERT, hand out brochures and information, and sign up new members to join us in defense of THEIR RIGHTS. For the first time at this show we will have THREE tables: a table at each entrance offering free show admission with the purchase of a new or renewed membership, and one inside the complex! We have openings for all shifts, both days. Saturday, March 28 Morning shift; 9:00am - 1:00pm Saturday, March 28 Afternoon shift; 1:00pm - 5:00pm Sunday, March 29 Morning shift; 10:00am - 1:30pm Sunday, March 29 Afternoon shift; 1:30pm - 5:00pm While we're on a serious mission, gun shows are fun, casual events. No previous gun show experience is necessary. First-time volunteers are very welcome. We will have experienced volunteers on every shift to help you. SW Virginia VCDL will set up our tent on Saturday, 28 March 2020 at the "HeROW" EXPO CAR SHOW VINTON WAR MEMORIAL 814 E Washington Ave Vinton VA 24179 The show opens at 12 Noon and runs until 5 PM Come join us for this great cause! Help needed: Freedom Fest in Buchanan on April 4 at 11 am (setup around 9:15 am)
We will again support the FREEDOM FEST Event on Saturday, April 4, located at: Freedom Farms 6118 Lithia Rd Buchanan Va 24066 Freedom Farms supports treatment programs for veterans with PTSD. If you will be carrying, a special request from the event staff: since this is a treatment facility, NO OPEN CARRY, PLEASE. Concealed carry is fine. A fun event with live music; food vendors; silent auction; displays. Gates open to the public at 11 AM. VCDL will need THREE helpers for this event. RSVP to al@vcdl.org Our set up time will be posted later. For now, plan on 9:15 AM. We will pay the admission for our helpers. Admission tickets available at www.NewFreedomFarm.org.
