Dear Members, Patrons, and Interested Parties:
This message is to remind you that the July 8, 2014 meeting of the full FOIA Council has been cancelled and instead, both subcommittees of the FOIA Council will meet that day:
The Records Subcommittee will meet at 10:00 AM. The Records Subcommittee consists of Council members Tavenner (Chair), Ashby (VIce-Chair), Hamlett, Jones, and Oksman.
The Meetings Subcommittee will meet at 1:30 PM. The Meetings Subcommittee consists of Council members Whitehurst (Chair), Dooley, Landon, Oksman, and Selph.
Both subcommittee meetings will be in the Speaker's Conference Room, Sixth Floor, General Assembly Building, 201 N. 9th Street, Richmond, Virginia 23237.
Attached are meeting agendas for both Subcommittees, the guidance memo sent to the Subcommittee members by the Chair and Vice-Chair of the FOIA Council, and exemption review worksheets that will be used by staff to document the Subcommittees' work as they study and make recommendations on each exemption.
