Ben Carson for President

Run Ben Run!

Vote for Your Favorite Candidate in the 2016 Presidential Survey

That’s right, I’m hoping you will vote for the person you want to be the Republican nominee for President in 2016.

Yes, I’m working to elect Dr. Ben Carson as the next President of the United States, but...

I’d like to know who your choice is for 2016.

And, regardless of the outcome of this 2016 Presidential Survey, I’m going to release the final results to the national news media.

That’s why I’d like you to honestly tell me who your favorite candidate is for 2016.

Of course, I’d like to persuade you that Ben Carson is the best candidate for the GOP in 2016 because he is...

  • The only candidate who is Sure to Win!
  • The only candidate who can heal our broken land, and
  • The one candidate you can trust to repeal Obamacare and be faithful to the United States Constitution.

And, the facts back me up.

But, first things first... Please take just a moment to complete the 2016 presidential survey. Thank you.

Why is Ben Carson Sure to Win?

The fact is, Ben Carson is not only sure to win, if you look at the changing demographics of America, you will agree with me that he is the only Republican candidate for President who can win.

Here’s the blunt truth...

When Ronald Reagan won a 49 state landslide in 1984 he won the white vote by 20 points - 60/40.

When Mitt Romney lost in 2012 he won the white vote by 20 points - 60/40.

What happened?

The answer is that the demographics of the United States have changed dramatically. Today, there are many more minority voters, and unless the Republicans run a candidate who can appeal to these minority voters they will lose again.

But, can Ben Carson actually win over minority voters?

Yes, and here’s why.

When Herman Cain ran for President in 2012, he was stunned to learn that his internal polls showed him winning more than 40% of the black vote and more than 60% of the Latino vote.

As you can imagine, the Cain campaign team was perplexed. How could Herman Cain draw huge support from both the African American and the Hispanic community running against America’s first black president, Barack Obama? It didn’t seem to make any sense.

What they concluded was that poor African Americans and poor Latinos saw in Herman Cain a man who had experienced their lot in life - being born into poverty. They believed that he understood their plight and, more important, he understood how to escape poverty and experience economic success.

In short, both African Americans and Hispanics identified with Herman Cain.

Now, if that’s the case, just imagine how these African Americans and Hispanics will identify with and support Dr. Ben Carson.

While businessman Herman Cain was widely respected in the black and Latino circles, it is not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Benjamin Carson is revered in these communities. Every black child has been told the story of Ben Carson, a man born into dire poverty in one of the worst areas of Detroit.

For decades, black parents have taught their children about Ben Carson and how he escaped poverty to become one of the world’s leading neurosurgeons. Dr. Ben Carson is an icon in the African American community.

Knowing these facts, it is only reasonable to conclude that Ben Carson will win as much or more of the black vote than Herman Cain.

But, Ben Carson doesn’t need to win 40% of the African American vote to win.

That’s right. If Ben Carson wins just 17% of the black vote in the swing states, no Democrat candidate for President, even Hillary Clinton, can win the White House!

Just 17% of the Black Vote!

Common sense tells me that based on the fact that Herman Cain was drawing more than 40% of the black vote and more than 60% of the Hispanic vote means that Ben Carson will do even better.

But, it takes just 17% of the African American vote to win in 2016.

No other Republican candidate for President can win 17% of the black vote.

Unless the Republican candidate has standing in the black and Latino communities that pre-dates his political activities, he will not receive African American or Hispanic support, no matter how strong a campaigner he is or how conservative he is.

That’s why Ben Carson is the only Republican candidate for President who is sure to win.

But, there is another reason Ben Carson is our best choice for 2016.

Ben Carson Will Heal America

I believe that the worst and most destructive aspect of the Obama Presidency has been his efforts to divide our nation and set Americans against each other.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the Democratic Party have intentionally urged Americans to distrust each other, to be jealous of each other, and to dislike each other.

Obama and Clinton have encouraged African Americans to think of all white people as racists. They have told Hispanics that Republicans and conservatives are their “enemies."

And, instead of helping the poor climb the ladder of economic success, they have demonized the wealthy and accused them of achieving success at the expense of the poor.

They have demagogically accused you and me of waging a “war on women,” and they have encouraged the young to distrust their elders.

The cynical approach of the Democrats has put politics before the good of America. Obama and Clinton believe that by dividing Americans against each other they can continue to triumph at the polls.

Sadly, their efforts have succeeded.

Today, America is more divided than at any time since the Civil War.

Only one man can heal America, and that man is Dr. Benjamin Carson.

Dr. Carson doesn’t point fingers and encourage anger and hostility. Instead, he wants to bring healing to our land. And, who better to do that than a man who has been dedicated to healing his entire life? As Dr. Carson has said...

“...when I take someone to the operating room, and I shave their head, and I open the scalp and take off bone flap, and open the dura, I am then operating on the thing that makes that person who they are. The skin has very little to do with who that person is. And it's something that we have just allowed to define us and it really has very little to do with who a person is.”

As a Christian, Ben Carson believes in forgiveness and compassion. He wrote...

“It seems to me that we are all divided. We used to be united. I want people to realize we are not each other’s enemy. Wedges are driven between us to create wars of every type, and to divide and conquer. Jesus said, ‘A house divided against itself cannot stand.’”

It is not surprising that Dr. Ben Carson is a hero to Americans of all races and ethnic backgrounds. The one book he reads every day is the Book of Proverbs, where he soaks in Godly wisdom. This is what he says about leadership...

“One defining feature of an outstanding leader is the ability to bring divergent groups together and unite them in a common mission with benefits for all.”

The truth is, we need less Washington, D.C., political experience and more real world experience, Godly wisdom, and commonsense in our next President if America is to survive.

But, what will Ben Carson do to restore American prosperity, bring America back from the brink of economic collapse, return our nation to traditional moral standards, and reestablish limited, Constitutional government?

Ben Carson: A Conservative You Can Trust

This is where Ben Carson stands on the important issues of the day...

  • National Debt. “To saddle the next generation with unimaginable debt is not only callous, it is morally reprehensible.” Carson advocates cutting government spending by 10% each year, across the board, until the budget is balanced.
  • Obamacare. Repeal it! Replace it. “When a person is born, give him... an electronic medical record, and a health savings account, to which money can be contributed, pretax from the time you are born, to the time you die.” You own it, your heirs inherit it, the government is not involved.
  • Taxes. Carson favors a Biblical approach. “...fair taxation means that everyone contributes... proportionately. ...a Wall Street mogul who made $10 billion would be required to give $1 billion and a Harlem schoolteacher who made $50,000 would be required to give $5,000.”
  • Marriage. “...I believe marriage is between a man and a woman and that no group has the right to change the definition of marriage to suit their needs.”
  • Life. “...life begins at conception rather than at the time of delivery or at some arbitrary point during gestation.”
  • Judeo-Christian Values. “These are the values that... led us to the pinnacle position in the world faster than any nation in history.”
  • Prosperity. When the vision of the U.S. government included guarding the rights of people but staying out of their way, America was an economic engine more powerful than anything the world has ever witnessed.”
  • Illegal Immigration. Carson believes that politicians should listen to the American people, and secure our borders.
  • Redistribution of Income. Ben Carson believes it is counterproductive, immoral, and unjust.
  • Welfare. “Compassion...should mean providing a mechanism to escape poverty rather than simply maintaining people in an impoverished state by supplying handouts.”
  • Judges. Carson: appoint judges totally committed to the U.S. Constitution.
  • Political Correctness. “...if we don’t oppose political correctness...I believe we could see a dictatorship with brutal domination of any individual or group that opposes the leadership.”
  • Right to Keep & Bear Arms. “I would never allow the Second Amendment to be jeopardized.”
  • Democrats and Republicans. "...believe that when you're elected to office, you become some kind of member of the aristocracy, and that anyone who challenges you is attacking you and is unpatriotic. This is foolishness.”
  • Prayer. “While values, knowledge and compassion are key for getting America back on track, the most important thing is prayer.”

Like Eisenhower and Reagan, Carson is not a politician, he is a citizen statesman, someone willing to sacrifice and give up his private life to serve his nation.

Ben Carson owes no debt to special interests, he is not cowed by the liberal news media, and he is a man of honor who has known both poverty and amazing success. As a pediatric neurosurgeon, he was the first man in the history of the world to lead a surgical team that successfully separated twins, conjoined at the head with both surviving.

A full length motion picture, starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., portrayed Ben Carson’s rise from abject poverty to becoming a world-renowned brain surgeon. He is the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, and has authored six books, and his latest book, “One Nation,” is a New York Times bestseller.

But, Ben Carson cannot win the Republican nomination for President and the White House without your help.

Gambling multi-billionaire, Sheldon Adelson, has bragged that he will spend as much as $100 million to compress the Republican candidate selection process and pick a candidate of his choosing.

Recently, Jeb Bush and Chris Christie flew to Las Vegas to meet with Adelson and friends. It was, apparently, a sort of audition to get the backing of Adelson. And, surprisingly, multi-millionaire Mitt Romney is considering another run for the White House in 2016.

If Carson overcomes those challenges, he will likely face Hillary Clinton, who already has multi-billionaire George Soros in her corner.

So, as you can see, it is an uphill battle.

But, if you want to win in 2016, you want to heal our land, and you want a trustworthy conservative at the head of the ticket, Ben Carson is your man.

In 2012, the Obama campaign spent upwards of $1 billion, and Hillary will have access to a similar amount.

That’s why we are hard at work right now. We have paid field workers in Iowa and New Hampshire, and have invested tens of thousands of dollars in the technology needed to match the sophisticated campaign of Ben Carson’s well-heeled opponents.

At a cost of more than $400,000, we have run billboards, full page advertisements, and ads on the Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh shows, urging Dr. Ben Carson to run for President of the United States.

The Committee has also distributed more than 800,000 bumper strips, posters, buttons, and other campaign materials.

But, we need your help now to nominate and elect Ben Carson as the next President of the United States.

We need to expand our staff and grow our field team so that Ben Carson can sweep the first four delegate selection states -- Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Won’t you please help with a gift of $35 today?

Of course, if you can send $50 or $100 or $500 or even, $1,000, please do so.

Every dollar you send will bring us closer to winning the nomination for Ben Carson.

No matter what you send, $1,000 or just $35, it is urgently needed today to keep the Draft Ben Carson campaign moving toward victory in 2016.

Please help in whatever way you can. Thank you.

Sincerely,

John Philip Sousa, IV
National Chairman

P.S. Don’t forget to complete the 2016 Presidential Survey, even if your first choice for President is not Ben Carson. And, please, if you possibly can, send along a gift of at least $35 today to make sure that Ben Carson is on the 2016 ticket. Thank you again, and may God continue to bless America.
