Business leaders across the region and beyond have made a clear choice in the race for Delegate in Virginia's 85th House district. Scott Taylor has earned the endorsement of both the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation for Independent Businesses.
"When voters look for a candidate who is pro-business and pro-jobs, they'll know Scott Taylor means business," said Taylor. "I know what small business owners face and what they need. To create jobs, it takes investment, capital, an educated workforce and a tax and regulatory climate that is business-friendly."
These endorsements echo the positive response Taylor has received from the start of his campaign. Taylor's campaign outraised its opponent by a 4 to 1 margin and holds a mammoth 7 to 1 cash advantage.
"Our message of economic opportunity, jobs, robust Virginia education, and taking care of our veterans is resonating, and I'm humbled by the great response," said Taylor.
The NFIB and HR Chamber of Commerce are non-partisan organizations endorse both Republicans and Democrats who are good for economic development and who understand job creation. The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce represents over 280,000 employees in the region. NFIB is the leading small business association in the United States, representing over 350,000 small businesses.
Election Day is November 5th.
