How to Lower Fuel Cost

FYI: The United States is producing more crude oil than ever (record levels in 2025 and expected again in 2026), but refining capacity has declined due to recent plant closures and decades of regulatory barriers by Green New Deal (SCAM) type policies that have prevented construction of major new refineries.

I’m asking the President to consider a state of emergency and to significantly streamline the NEPA permitting process so we can build and expand domestic refining capacity faster. Without adequate refining capacity, even tripling our crude production wouldn't mean lower diesel, gasoline, and other fuel prices for American consumers.

The 5th District GOP Chair Convention will be held on Saturday, November 14.

I’m giving it my all every day because Virginia and our country face serious challenges. We need serious new leadership in the 5th.
