Crestview Elementary School Tuesday | | Henrico Parents and K-12 students are invited to Crestview Elementary School this Tuesday, August 8th, at 9:00 AM to have a conversation with Governor Glenn Youngkin about school issues. | | Stop by the Goochland Tea Party tent each Saturday 10am to 4pm at 30 Broad Street Road, Manakin Sabot, VA, 23103 next to the Food Lion in Centerville each Saturday from now to November 7. Stop by and learn about local politics, meet local candidates, get yard signs, Trump gear, McGuire gear, and more. Please bring a friend! | | Town of Louisa Council Member Vicky Harte | | | We had a wonderful time at the AG Fair in Louisa County. I enjoyed speaking with constituents. Special thank you to the Louisa County volunteers who manned the GOP tent. | | When visiting the Orange County VFW years ago, they asked me if I knew anyone who wanted to buy a tractor. That VFW was closing down and merging with the Louisa VFW and needed to sell their tractor. It looked like it was stored for years in a garage. Since Tracy and I had just bought a farm in Goochland County, we bought it. It's a 1970 Ford 2000 gas with a snowplow on the front, a scraper, and we also have a bush hog for it. This tractor gets the job done and a local farmer told me I better never sell this tractor because it's easy to repair at home and will last forever. I enjoy talking tractors and farming with farmers around Senate District Ten! | | Delegate Buddy Fowler and I had a wonderful time with friends at the Louisa Convocation. Superintendent of Louisa County Public Schools Doug Straley and his team did a great job firing everyone up in preparation for the new year! | | Two Days With Senator Travis Hackworth | | They find many different types of fossils when mining. | | | | Back of the Dragon is 32 miles of road with 438 curves and 3500 feet in elevation changes. To learn more go to the Back of the Dragon | | We visited the Cedar Bluff Overlook Park POW/ MIA Memorial. It was built to help raise awareness to the POW/MIA issue in America. This non profit memorial was dedicated April 26, 2019 and it features flags from all branches of military, as well as the Virginia state flag and POW flag. Fellow veteran and friend Paul Galanti, a former Vietnam POW, said any day you have a door knob on both sides of the door is a good day. | | Goochland Tea Party Anne James | | I ran into fellow Goochlander Ann James (not a shrinking violet) and her grandchildren at the Goochland Tea Party tent. | | Buckingham County Trump Tent | | I stopped by the Buckingham County Trump merchandise tent at Teresa's Place. These folks will be at Farmers Daughter in Prince Edward August 12,10am to 4pm. | | Prince Edward County GOP Picnic | | | | It was great to see a very hard working SCC Member and patriot Renee Maxey and fellow Delegate Tommy Wright | | State Senator Frank Ruff and Delegate Tommy Wright | | I enjoyed talking with folks in Prince Edward County at their GOP picnic. Thanks to you, we won Prince Edward big at the convention. Now we must continue to build support and work together to win in November! | | New General Assembly Building in Richmond | | We recently toured the new General Assembly Building in Richmond. It may be ready for move in by October. This will be a huge change over the Pocahontas building. I'm looking forward to serving you and working with fellow legislators to improve Virginia in the Senate! | | Thank you, once again, for allowing me to serve you in the Virginia House of Delegates. God willing, I will win in November and continue to serve you in the State Senate. Our goal is to get as many fellow Republicans elected as possible so we can stop the nonsense.
