According to a Morning Consult poll, Youngkin's approval rating hit a record 57%, putting him in the top half of America's most popular governors.
The latest poll furthers a positive trend of Youngkin's approval rating, which has steadily increased since he took office in 2021. That's because, since day one, Governor Youngkin has focused his agenda on unifying, commonsense policies: empowering parents... cutting taxes... growing jobs and the economy... keeping our communities safe.
EMPOWERING PARENTS AND RESTORING EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION
Youngkin has put Virginia parents back at the head of the table in their children's education. Youngkin fought to give parents more power over what their kids are learning at school and eliminated divisive concepts from classrooms.
Youngkin signed the largest education budget in Virginia history and increased teacher pay by 10%.
CUTTING TAXES AND GROWING JOBS
Youngkin delivered $4 billion in tax relief for hardworking Virginians, the largest in the Commonwealth's history. Youngkin ended the grocery tax and regressive carbon tax and found $1.2 billion in savings by cutting government waste.
In the last 18 months, Youngkin's policies have created 200,000 jobs, and the labor force participation rate is the highest level in 10 years. Virginia's unemployment rate continues to fall below the national average, and iconic American companies are relocating their businesses and the jobs that come with them to our Commonwealth.
BACKING THE BLUE AND KEEPING OUR COMMUNITIES SAFE
Governor Youngkin provided more than $400 million for law enforcement pay raises, training and equipment along with dedicated resources to recruit law enforcement officers to the Commonwealth.
Youngkin ended the dangerous early release of 8,000 violent offenders, banned dangerous Delta-8 and synthetic THC products from shelves, and helped Virginia State Police take more than 1 ton of illegal drugs, including 47 pounds of dangerous fentanyl, off Virginia's streets through Operation Bold Blue Line.
