Never Forget
We must never forget our fallen, On the 18th anniversary of Operation Red Wings, the United States continues to honor the legacy of the courageous team of Navy SEALs who fought outnumbered against a group of terrorists in Afghanistan. In an intense and dire firefight that unfolded on June 28, 2005, in the rugged Hindu Kush of Afghanistan, a devoted four-man Navy SEAL team fought a desperate battle deep in enemy territory.
Three of the four SEALs were killed during the ensuing battle. Navy SEAL Marcus Lutrell was the Lone Survivor. One of the two quick reaction force (QRF) helicopters sent in for their aid was shot down by an RPG-7 fired by Shah's insurgents, killing all eight U.S. Navy SEALs and all eight U.S. Army Special Operations aviators on board. Father's Day
I enjoyed spending time with my Dad, John McGuire Jr, on Father's Day.
The Supreme Court
Dr. Martin Luther King, JR was right, we should be judged on the content of our character, not the color of our skin. The supreme court struck down racial preferences in college admissions by eliminating affirmative action. Race can no longer be a factor in college admissions.
Parents Back Merit
Perhaps we are getting a little sanity back with regard to education? Parents who back merit/ higher standards dominate NYC school council elections click here.
Amelia County Fair
My wife, Tracy, and I had a wonderful time at the Amelia Fair.
VADA Convention
It has been an honor serving on the Transportation Committee while being a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. Thank you to the VADA and President Don Hall for sharing the concerns of Virginia Auto Dealers with fellow legislators at the VADA convention.
5th Congressional District Meeting
I attended the 5th Congressional District Meeting.
Governor Youngkin Half Time Show
(Primary Results)
Some Primary Results
We celebrated the Virginia Primary Results with Governor Glenn Youngkin at his Half Time Show. There were many surprises on primary night. The most notable change is the left chose much more radical far left candidates. Now we need to lock ams and win in the fall. Early voting begins September 22. The final day to vote to is November 7. For a complete list of primary results click here.
More Success
Cumberland County Supervisor
If you live in Cumberland County, please consider voting this Fall for my good friend and fellow Veteran, Dolph Davis. Tracy and I have known Dolph and his wife Holly for years. He is a more than solid individual, who flew helicopters, and served as a Colonel in the USMC. Semper Fi brother!
A Few District Photos

Veteran Bill Signing
Governor Glenn Youngkin signed bills to support our veterans at the Virginia War Memorial. Thank you, Sir!

Congratulations Lanie Grant & Sanai Green
Congratulations! James River rising junior, Lanie Grant, and Steward School rising sophomore, Sanai Green, for being selected to participate in the 2023 USA Women's U16 National Team trials.
Senate District Ten
I'm running for State Senate so we can un-California Virginia. It starts with election integrity. For a better future, we must win back the Virginia State Senate in 2023 and stop the madness. I invite you and your friends to join me in this cause.

I am committed, as your Representative, to adhering to the principal duties of government, as stated in our Declaration of Independence, i.e., the protection of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Thank you, once again, for allowing me to serve you in the Virginia House of Delegates. Take care, please spread the word and I look forward to seeing you around the district!
