I Hope to See You Today

Republican State Senate Caucus Retreat

It is time to get to work. Right after the convention, I was tapped on the shoulder and told to head to Norfolk the next day for the Republican State Senate Caucus Retreat. The retreat was a great opportunity to get to know my colleagues, discuss policies, and strategies for November. Five Republican Senators are retiring this year; Senator Steve Newman, Jill Vogel, Tommy Norment, Emmett Hangar, and John Cosgrove. Thank you for your service to our Commonwealth.

House of Delegates New District 56 Debate

I attended the New House of Delegates District 56 debate in Fluvanna last week. Fellow delegate Rob Bell, retiring this year, and Joe Thomas moderated the Debate. I am not endorsing in this race. The three candidates are Kevin Bailey, Tom Garrett, and Jenny Wood. Their convention is Saturday May 20 in Cumberland County.

Vietnam Special Forces Medal of Honor Recipient Paris Davis

Thank you Governor Glenn Youngkin for taking care of our veterans. I had the honor of attending a ribbon cutting ceremony in Arlington, VA for the new American Legion Post 139 building that will include the “Gold Standard Digital Hub” to connect veterans and their families to resources, affordable housing, and more.

Powhatan Fair

Fellow Delegate Lee Ware and I spoke with constituents at the Powhatan Fair. This fair is will continue this weekend Saturday and Sunday.
