Virginia Winners!! Congratulations, Senator Jen Kiggans, now Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, on winning the 2nd Congressional District! Also, congratulations, on reelection: Congressman Rob Whitman Congressman Morgan Griffith Congressman Ben Cline Congressman Bob Good The midterm goal to gain a majority in Congress was achieved. | | President Trump will make an announcement tonight 9pm at Mar-a-Largo Club Palm Beach, Florida. Click here for more on Newsmax. | | Dear Friends,
On Tuesday November 8, we did not get the red wave many predicted. And sadly, election day is still not over. But we did win some local races, picked up a new congressional seat with Jen Kiggans, and won a majority in Congress. I am thankful to those who stepped up and didn’t win as well. I was especially hopeful for Yesli Vega, a true Patriot who gave it her all. It takes a lot of guts and sacrifice to run, and their efforts moved our conservative message forward. I am amazed and thankful for the hard work our many volunteers put in to get our Republicans across the finish line. Thank you! | | We must now focus on 2023. In addition to working with other legislators and preparing legislation for January, I am gearing up my campaign to be your next State Senator District 10. Here is some of what I've been up to around the district and some of what's on my mind. | | 5 McGuire Boys Hanover County | | Five McGuire boys from Hanover County fought in WW2. When knocking doors in Hanover County, a woman had this Herald Progress Story in her Bible from WW2 that included my grandfather, Navy Veteran John Joseph McGuire Sr. My father, the second, served in the Army. I am the third and a Navy Veteran. My son is the fourth and is currently serving in the Navy! My brother Rusty, is currently serving in the Virginia National Guard. #proudtoserve #veteransday #usa #hanover #sd10 | | We must win the Virginia State Senate so we can roll back the changes to our election system made during the pandemic. | | Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders | | Congratulations to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the first female Governor of Arkansas! | | The population of the earth just hit 8 billion people. Agriculture and farming are even more important than ever. We must support Agriculture and Forestry, the largest industry in Virginia. | | Governor Youngkin and his team campaigned everywhere to help fellow Republicans win. Thank you! | | Congratulations, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis! | | Winner!!! Congratulations, Florida governor Ron DeSantis. He won by 20 percent! | | Thank you, Powhatan GOP Committee, for allowing me to give an update. And thank you for everything you did to help Congressman Bob Good, Commonwealth Attorney Rob Cerullo, and School Board Vicki Hurt get elected. Now it is time to focus on 2023! #sd10 #virginia | | Are you tired of unreliable Republican politicians that flip flop? Click here | | Bendectine Football Goochland | | It was good to see Governor Youngkin, our First Lady Suzanne Youngkin, and others at the Benedictine Football game in Goochland County. | | It was a perfect day for a game. Tracy and I enjoyed tailgating and watching the Virginia Tech Football with some wonderful people at Lane Stadium. It was good to see my seat mate Delegate Jason Ballard, huge Hokie Fan Senator Mark Obenshain, Congressman Morgan Griffith for the re-election win Tuesday November 8, Education Secretary Aimee Guidera, Hanover Supervisor Sue Dibble, VA Tech President Tim Sands, and many more. #virginia | | Veterans Day Appomattox County | | Happy Veterans Day! I spent a good part of the day in Appomattox County, “Where our Country Reunited”, with many fellow Veterans. #thankyou #welcomehome #veteransday #godblessamerica | | It looks like “Bibi” is making a strong political comeback in Israel. | | This is the Medal of Honor earned by Colonel Van T. Barfoot in World War II. He fought in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. Colonel Barfoot lived on a farm in Amelia County for years. His son-in-law, Roger, told us his story and showed pictures in Fluvanna for Veterans Day. When I was in the hospital with a life-threatening injury, Colonel Barfoot visited with me and gave me encouraging words. When he lived in Henrico the HOA told him to take his American flag down; he refused and it stayed up. Many of you may know they are about to change the name of Fort Pickett in Blackstone to Fort Barfoot. #virginia #veteransday #thankyou #sd10 | | Virginia Farm Bureau is not just for farmers. They support all Virginians through auto, home and farm insurance from local agents; deals and savings on shopping, travel and farm equipment; and lobbying, advocacy and education on behalf of Virginia agriculture. | | We are praying for the UVA victims and their families. Evil does exist and we need to keep an eye on each other. Thank God the UVA shooting suspect is in custody. Thank you to our law enforcement officers and first responders, including members of the Louisa County Sheriff’s department. We are praying for the UVA victims and their families. My heart breaks for the three football players no longer with us, and the community traumatized by events like this. I hear a lot of people talk about mental illness, but we need to talk about an evil heart. We need more love and understanding. I’ve been told by law-enforcement officers, in most cases someone knew something, but didn’t report it. Let’s keep an eye on each other. If you see something, say something, and do something. | | Bob Good Meet & Greet Buckingham | | Congratulations, Rob Manolo Beaverdam Supervisor | | | | | | Congratulations, Lloyd Runnett Louisa County School Board | | | Congratulations, Vickie Hurt Powhatan School Board | | | | Congratulations, Congressman Rob Wittman on Re-election | | | After campaigning everywhere, including 10 counties on election day, my brother Rusty and I stopped by the Hanover Watch Party and met some wonderful patriots. Unfortunately, it was not the red wave many expected.
The fight is not over, keep your chin up, keep working, keep praying, and let’s save our commonwealth. Where Virginia goes so goes the country! #virginia | | Senator Siobhan Dunnavant gave us a great campaign update at the Henrico GOP breakfast. Delegate Buddy Fowler, Supervisor Tommy Brannin, David Owens for Delegate D57, and I also spoke. It was good to see everyone! | | Louisa Safe Schools Task Force | | Superintendant Doug Straley and team are doing a great job with the Safe Schools Task Force. It has been an honor being part of this team for four years now. Our kids should be number one! | | I submitted House Bill 108 this year, which would have made it a felony homicide for drug dealers to distribute fentanyl, resulting in drug users dying from an overdose. Unfortunately, Democrats in the House and the State Senate voted, “no”. There is a fatal overdose epidemic in our Commonwealth and Country. These drugs, which are manufactured in China, are coming across our southern border and killing Americans. In January, I will submit a version of this bill again. | | I'm running for State Senate so we can un-California Virginia. It starts with election integrity. For a better future, we must win back the Virginia State Senate in 2023 and stop the madness. I invite you and your friends to join me in this cause. Please sign up now to be a delegate for the convention, TBD, and please share with friends via email here: john@mcguireforvirginia.com Take care, please spread the word and I look forward to seeing you around the district! | | Delegate John McGuire Jesus is my Savior Husband Father Navy SEAL Business Owner Pro-Life Pro-Gun America 1st Family Foundation 100 VCDL 100
