The ideal of a Republic is individual liberty. The ideal of a Democracy is Universal Equality. A Democracy always degenerates into a dictatorship, which promises government guaranteed equality and security, but it delivers nothing but poverty and serfdom for the people it robs and rules. Democrats use words like, “Democracy”, over and over, in order to mislead the American people. But America was founded as a Constitutional Republic to protect people’s individual rights from the tyranny of a democracy or a one man dictatorship.

We must now focus on 2023. Virginians want to live, work, and raise their family in peace. Unfortunately, crime is up, the cost of everything continues to rise, and our children are being taught divisive ideologies in the classroom. For some reason, the left thinks it is a good idea to defund the police and put dangerous criminals back on the streets. None of us want to be a helpless victim, but every time there is a shooting the left wants to make it harder for you to defend yourself. We have much work to do.
My Team and I have been working all summer with stakeholders on legislation to improve law enforcement, education, infrastructure, and more in Virginia. One very important piece legislation I will introduce for the third time is a bill to charge drug dealers with a Felony Homicide if they distribute Fentanyl and other controlled substances leads to a fatality: House Bill 108.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! #sd10 #virginia | | In Chesapeake, VA, a Walmart employee shot and killed six people with a pistol, and then shot himself Tuesday night. We are in a spiritual battle of good versus evil. On the shooter’s phone, police found a message that included the following text that the media will not include: "Sorry everyone but I did not plan this, I promise things just fell in place like I was led by Satan."
Thank you, Governor Youngkin, for your message of unity and support for fellow Virginians. Please keep the families impacted in your thoughts and prayers. Evil does exist; let’s keep an eye on each other. If you see something, say something, and do something.
Mental health is a real issue, especially during the holidays, when some people may not be able to be with their families, and/or may feel lonely. I hear a lot of people talk about mental illness, but we need to also talk about an evil heart. | | The number one cause of death in people, ages 18 to 45 in America, is Fentanyl. When will Democrats stop protecting drug dealers and vote, “yes”, on my bill to stop the poisoning/ killing of fellow Virginians? I submitted House Bill 108 this year, which would have made it a felony homicide for drug dealers to distribute fentanyl, resulting in drug users dying from an overdose. Unfortunately, Democrats in the House and the State Senate voted, “no”. There is a fatal overdose epidemic in our Commonwealth and the Country. These drugs, which are manufactured in China, are coming across our southern border and killing Americans. In January, I will submit a version of this bill again. | | Are We Becoming a Godless Nation? | | John Adams, in a speech to the military in 1798, warned his fellow countrymen stating, "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
Creepy BDSM themed Balenciaga Ad Campaign sexualizes children. Balenciaga rolled out a new ad campaign on Instagram, and the selling point of the ads was sex with children. One photograph showed a very young girl lying face down on a couch with candles, empty wine glasses, and a dog collar on a coffee table in front of her. Another picture showed the same girl, a toddler, holding a teddy bear dressed in sexual bondage gear, including a leather harness. Click here | | We finally have a Republican majority in Congress! The Oversight Committee, under the leadership of Rep. Jim Jordan, just did an incredible job laying out their plans of future investigations: “We are focused on how political our justice department has become.” “When is the FBI gonna stop interfering in American elections?” “We are committed to getting the facts and the truth on the Hunter Biden laptop and President Joe Biden corruption.” Two weeks before the 2020 election: “Why did big tech throttle back information vital to the American people?” Over 14 agents came to Republicans while they were in the minority with stories of corruption. This is the United States where we must restore trust and we must have equal justice under the law. | | History of American Firearms Hanover County | | In Montpelier, I attended a seminar on the history of firearms in America. They brought in an amazing collection of antique weapons dating all the way back to the French and Indian War. | | American Legion Post 215 Brunswick Stew Sale | | As a member of American Legion Post 215 in Goochland, it was good to hang out with fellow veterans and support the sale of Brunswick Stew and the Hunters Lunch. | | We live in the greatest county in history, where our rights come from God. I am happy to see the Youngkin Administration focus on teaching patriotism and love of country. Governor Youngkin says we should teach the good and the bad of American history. The curriculum is a work in progress. As a member of the education committee in the General Assembly, I look forward to continuing the discussion. | | Doswell Ruritan Salt Fish Breakfast | | I enjoyed a Saltfish breakfast at the Doswell Ruritan club in Hanover County. President McKinley and many other Presidents laid wreaths at its base in Arlington National Cemetery. Its sculptor was world renown, Moses Ezekiel, the first Jewish cadet to graduate from VMI, who fought at the Battle of New Market. The sculpture depicts blacks and white working together.
