CFV: Candidate Forums and the becoming a Delegate

Conservatives coming together.

Dear Virginia, We conducted three forums last week for the three state-wide races - Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General. We were honored to have had these candidates give their time so that we could share their visions with the voters.   All three forums available here. Specifically, we asked them what they thought was their unique quality to get them across the finish line in November and whether or not they will work together after the convention. Trust me this is the forum where you get to know who these candidate actually are.   One of our goals is to break down the gates of the gate-keepers to get all the information about the candidates out to the voters BEFORE the convention. Some of the candidates have a lot of money to spend trying to buy your vote. It is our belief that most voters today are less interested in who can buy the nomination and want a winner who can rally the base and mobilize the grassroots to bring a victory in November. They also have to be able to galvanize the voters to come out for our House of Delegate races.   Becoming a Delegate Delegates are not "bound" in Virginia, you do not have to be a delegate for a specific candidate, so you don't have to have decided yet. There is also no limit to the number of voters/delegates for this convention. All you have to do is register. 1. Anyone can vote (also called "be a delegate") this year. 2. Get your voter ID number here.  3. Fill out the form (from the link above) and take/email it/fill out their online form but get it to your local GOP committee (go here to find out where that is). 4. Do it TODAY because there are deadlines. The convention sites can also be provided by the local committees once they are all identified and Chasing Freedom - Virginia will be publishing all the locations as well.
