Voter Registration Took a Hit
Now back on track, Virginia voter registrations plummeted when the pandemic began. Between March and July, 50,000 fewer voters registered than in 2016.
Virginia's Uneven Surge in Early Voting
More than one of every four registered Virginia voters has already cast a ballot or requested one. VPAP's map shows that enthusiasm may have bypassed many rural areas that traditionally vote Republican.
