Day of Tears

Hello Friend of the Life Movement,

You are receiving this email because you previously indicated you are interested in the efforts of the Day of Tears to create a national day of mourning for those lost to abortion. It's a day set aside for mothers, fathers and their families to recognize the value of life.

March for Life: This year we are very excited that for the first time, we will be hosting a booth at the March for Life Conference in D.C. If you will be at the March for Life Conference this week. Stop by and see us there.

Virginia Legislative Alert: Last year, Virginia was the first state to adopt an official Day of Tears resolution. The pro-abortion legislators in the House of Delegates of the Virginia General Assembly have submitted House Resolution 14 that will cancel January 22 as the Day of Tears in Virginia. Instead, they want to name it as a Day of Women (remember the pink hats?) in leadership!

What a slap in the face to women hurt by abortion. The women of Virginia, and their families, deserve a day to recognize the loss felt due to abortion. If you live in Virginia contact Speaker of the House Kirk Cox at  804.526.5135 and tell him you support the Day of Tears and oppose the Day of Women.

Thank you,

The Day of Tears Team
