...Mark Sickles thinks the tolls are for thee. So let's stop him! So, imagine for a moment that you own your car, free and clear. Now, imagine that, despite already having paid for it, someone comes along and charges you $400 a month just to use your already-paid-for car. Does that sound fair? Does that sound like something that is good for Fairfax families? I-66 if OURS. I-395 is OURS. We paid for it with our transportation taxes. Richmond politicians like Mark Sickles think it's ok to slap our families with an extra $400 in tolls, for a road we already paid for. That the transportation companies that would run these tolls are major contributors to Sickles may explain this position, but it sure doesn't help us! It is a symbol of a political culture that is sick and in need of an infusion of new ideas and new priorities. In Richmond, I will fight for you, I will fight for our families, and I will fight for our liberties. Unlike Mark Sickles, I don't think the road tolls for thee. I will look for new solutions for our transportation woes, and I will bring a fresh perspective and fresh ideas to benefit Fairfax families. If you agree with me that we need real ideas that help Fairfax families- not impose job-killing new tolls- I need you to help me send a message to Richmond today. Instead of paying the Richmond politicians $17 per day in tolls, your donation of $17 to my campaign will help me pound the message home to Mark Sickles and Terry McAuliffe: The road does not toll for us! Kind regards, |
