The Democratic Party divides and conquers.
We in the Republican Party need to unite
and win.
As much as I wanted to win the Republican
nomination I have to admit I wasn't ready and on
May 10 the best candidate Suzanne Scholte won.
Some of my supporters complained that I was
treated unfairly in the process, I don't agree.
I don't mind the sparring in politics, I don't take it
personally, in football during the game I used any
edge to defeat my opponent but at the end of the
game there was no hard feelings.
In any case Suzanne never once participated in
any slights to me and in fact she and her husband
Chad pushed back against some perceived slights
to me.
Suzanne stepped up to run for this office because
she knows that Gerry Connolly and Mark Warner
are just yes men for the worst administration
in our lifetime.
George Allen and Ken Cuccinelli lost in the 11th
district by such a wide margin that it caused them
to lose their state wide election. We must do
better in the 11th!
