I look forward to seeing you around the district! | | Here is some of what I've been up to and some of the things on my mind. | | Sage's Law Appomattox County | | Click this link to watch the heartbreaking testimony about an Appomattox child sexually abused and human trafficked because the school system failed to inform the parents. The lawsuit has been filed. Radical Democrat policies are harming children and putting our children last. This year I was Chief Co-patron to Delegate Dave LaRock's bill, Sage's Law. This bill is a parental rights bill that would require schools to inform parents if their child indicates they are a different sex. In the Senate, Democrats said parents do not have their children's best interest and the Democrat Senators voted "no". No one loves a child more than their parents. I will continue this fight for parents and to protect children in the State Senate. | | Team effort! We need to lock arms across Virginia as Governor Glenn Youngkin says and win in November! | | Meet The Candidates Buckingham County | | RIP Fire Fighter Mia Etherage | | The funeral service for fire fighter, Mia Etherage, was somber, and at the same time inspirational. She was an amazing person who left the world better than she found it. She led a life of service as a volunteer fire fighter in Stafford Virginia and a full-time fire fighter in Louisa County, Virginia. After she died, her organs were donated and thus, she ended up saving someone in Ohio. There was a huge crowd there to pay their respects and Louisa County Town Manager Christian Goodwin gave a heart-felt farewell to Mia.
Mia Regina Etherage, age 20, of Fredricksburg, Virginia passed away on September 1, 2023 as a result of a line of duty injury, while serving Louisa County fire and EMS. Mia leaves behind an inspirational example of positivity and service to others. | | We must win a Republican majority in the State Senate. If you live in Henrico County, please volunteer, donate, and ask friends to vote to re-elect Senator Siobhan Dunnavant. Visit her website here. | | If you live in Hanover County, please vote "NO" to political school boards and "no" to the teacher unions. This will be on the ballot this November in Hanover. | | Youngkin Pardons Loudoun County Dad | | Scott Smith, a concerned Dad in Loudoun County, should never have been charged. I’m glad Governor Glenn Youngkin gave him an absolute pardon.  | | South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem endorses Donald Trump for president click here. | | Don Hall (VADA) South West Virginia | | I had a wonderful time with Virginia State Senator Travis Hackworth and fellow veteran and VADA president Don Hall in Southwest Virginia. Click here for the story. | | Kiersten Hening, a former Virginia Tech Soccer player, will get a $100,000 settlement, because she was benched for refusing to take a knee in support BLM, an anti-American organization. Kiersten stood strong on principal. Way to go! | | Our Second Amendment rights are under attack. Now, more than ever, we need to stand strong. Thank you, to the NRA and my friends at Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club, for a great event and thank you for fighting to protect our Second Amendment Rights. It was good to catch up with my friend WRVA Radio Talk Show host, Jeff Katz. | | We must protect and defend our God given rights that are enshrined in the Constitution. Say no to un-Constitutional mandates! | | Pals! Tracy, Remi, and I had breakfast with my friend, seat mate, and fellow member of the Virginia House of Delegates, Joe McNamara, in Roanoke. He is the only certified public accountant in the General Assembly, and he probably has the best understanding of tax policy. I’m looking forward to continuing to work on legislation with Joe, as your State Senator of District 10! We are all up for re-election in the General Assembly this year. Please spread the word! | | The next Delegate for District 56, Tom Garrett, and I spent a few hours together touring the Bear Garden Natural Gas Power Station in Buckingham County. This 580 mega watt combined cycle plant runs primarily on natural gas and has ultra low sulfur diesel fuel as back up. Thank you, Sarah, Marshall, and Dominion Energy for everything you do to keep the lights on for fellow Virginians. | | Hanover Delegate Scott Wyatt spoke on the floor during the vote on budget amendments. I'm looking forward to continuing service in the State Senate! | | My wife, Tracy is my favorite HOKIE! We ran into Virginia State Senator Mark Obenshain, and his wife, Suzanne, at the game. Go HOKIES! | | Patriot Day, we will never forget 9/11/2001. NY, VA, PA; “No Day Shall Erase You From the Memory of Time.” | | What are your thoughts on US involvement in Ukraine? | | How many of you are sick and tired of these evil policies that harm children? | | Evil does exist, we are living in Clown World. | | Only 2 Genders, Telling It Like It Is | | How many of you are in favor of hand marked paper ballots? | | Trump Leading in the Polls | | Please support Jeanne Wade for Powhatan School Board District Three! | | Rally for Henrico Candidates September 18 | | We are working hard to get a majority in the State Senate and the House of Delegates. It is very important we get Senator Siobhan Dunavant re-elected, and we help elect David Owen and Riley Shaia to the House of Delegates. Come out to the Dominion club September 18 and support our candidates! As Governor Glenn Youngkin says, we "must lock arms" and win in November. Because, right now, that is all that matters! | | Powhatan Meet the Candidates | | Human Trafficking Update Goochland | | I attended the Human Trafficking event at Benedictine College Preparatory School with Governor Gilmore, Goochland's Commonwealth Attorney Mike Caudill, and others. Human trafficking is modern day slavery. I will continue to fight for stiffer penalties, especially with regard to children who are trafficked. | | Constitution Day Goochland | | The Goochland Tea Party works hard each year to support experienced Republicans who focus on policy not politics. They put this event on each year to encourage patriotism and educate the community.
