From Judi:
Blast Update — VICTORY--YAY!!!!! Also, 2021 Progress Report, and a few thank you's...
Today the Colorado Senate joined the House in passing HJR21-1006 (Rescission)! That includes rescinding their Balanced Budget application (BBA) from the late 1970s, plus a 1901 "Direct Election of Senators" application that USTL was counting as a "term limits" application! USTL becomes the first group ever to have an application rescinded that they never passed!!! π
And as if that weren't enough great news: ( DRUMROLL) We beat COS in Nebraska today against all odds!!! Even Sen. Halloran was surprised he lost! He kept repeating the same falsehoods on the Senate floor that he did in our new Chart! After a debate that lasted over an hour, Halloran was able to get 23 votes to pull LR14 out of committee. But he needed a majority of 25 to be successful!!! π
And we were too busy to celebrate before--but speaking of against all odds: we defeated Convention of States (COS) in a huge Victory in West Virginia on April 10, their last day of session. The delegate bill, SB 332, after having passed both the Senate and the House, was returned to the Senate with a minor amendment. At that point, Sen. Karnes, the sponsor of both SB 332 and SCR 5 (COS) amended SB 332 to incorporate the COS application, which then passed & had to be sent back to the House to reconcile. It was never brought up on the House floor, and mercifully died at midnight when the session closed. Yes--we killed the Delegate bill too--or we might say it committed suicide! π
The activity level this year is unbelievable—especially COS and USTL. The forces of evil are trying to get their convention called in 2021, even though they're having little success passing applications. South Carolina is the 3 rd State attempting to be #34 in 2021 (the BBA having passed in 27--whoops! Now 26!!!) Thank you for all your letters, calls, and work on the ground—this is confirmation that what we do matters!
Listen to this video 3 times to CELEBRATE (I know, it dates me ) < 3 minutes each time…
We still have some stray states, and we have big battles ahead in North Carolina, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and Tennessee. And now Michigan is just starting up—so please watch for more blasts coming soon. It's been a busy year against the globalists—thank you for hanging in there to save our Constitution!
Please thank the following 14 Nebraska Senators who voted "No" on the motion to pull LR14 from committee. In addition, there were 12 Senators "Excused" or "Present—Not Voting" who helped us by not voting; but it's difficult to thank someone for not voting!
