Virginia Patriots, As we move into the next phase of stopping Governor Northam's unconstitutional orders, I wanted to give you a quick update. To be very short and sweet, the effort to Nullify Northam is gaining steam and is moving in multiple counties in Virginia. But without your help, we will fail. Sources have confirmed that Campbell County is moving forward with their effort to prohibit Governor Northam's anti- 1st Amendment orders within the borders of Campbell County. We are looking into the details of that effort, because, unless the adopted Resolution has "teeth" it is as worthless as the paper it is written on. For while nearly 90% of counties in Virginia passed so called '2nd Amendment Sanctuary' resolutions, over 80% of unconstitutional, Red Flag Gun Confiscation orders have been executed in those very counties! And not a single thing has been done about it. This is why any effort by any politician, in any County in Virginia, must include the call for the Sheriff of the County to arrest and detain any and all State Officials, Agents or Officers that attempt to enforce Northam's decrees. Or else they are just pandering for votes. It is very vital then, if you live in Campbell County, that you attend the Board of Supervisors Meeting held at 47 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg, VA, tomorrow evening, December 1st, and demand that any resolution passed has an enforcement clause. The Public Comment section begins at 7pm, so show up and let your voice be heard! You can call 434-332-9525 to request time on the agenda or to voice support for a Resolution of Nullification that actually does something. This truly is a revolution of the people, not of any political party or any politician. And to win requires the efforts of all patriots in Virginia... including you! This is why it is vital that you forward this email to your friends and family and urge them to sign our petition to Nullify Northam's ILLEGAL ACTIONS, which is available at this link. And again, any effort to STOP Northam's Unconstitutional edits, must not only be firm, resolute and no compromise, but also must include enforcement teeth to physically, if necessary, stop the enforcement of these illegal orders. For example, here is the Resolution that was initially attempted in Bedford County, and please note the BOLD language. RESOLUTION OF BEDFORD COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WHEREAS, the Constitution of Virginia Article 1 section 1 states, "That all men are by nature equally free and independent and have certain inherent rights, of which, when they enter into a state of society, they cannot, by any compact, deprive or divest their posterity; namely, the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property, and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety." And,
WHEREAS, the Constitution of Virginia Article 1 section 12 states, "That the freedoms of speech and of the press are among the great bulwarks of liberty, and can never be restrained except by despotic governments; that any citizen may freely speak, write, and publish his sentiments on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that right; that the General Assembly shall not pass any law abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, nor the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for the redress of grievances." And,
WHEREAS, Governor Northam, through an unlegislated order, is prohibiting the gathering of more than 25 citizens at a single time; and,
WHEREAS this order is clearly in violation of the Constitution of Virginia Article 1 and sections 1 and 12; and,
WHEREAS, the Bedford County Board of Supervisors will not recognize the Governor's order pursuant to the Constitution of Virginia Article 1 section 2 which states, "That all power is vested in, and consequently derived from, the people, that magistrates are their trustees and servants, and at all times amenable to them." And,
WHEREAS, the Bedford County Board of Supervisors wishes to express its deep commitment to the rights of all citizens of Bedford County to peaceably assemble, and
WHEREAS, the Bedford County Board of Supervisors wishes to express opposition to any law that would unconstitutionally restrict the rights of the citizens of Bedford County, and
WHEREAS, the Bedford County Board of Supervisors wishes to express its intent to stand as a Sanctuary County for First amendment rights and to oppose, within the limits of the Constitution of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia, any efforts to unconstitutionally restrict such rights, and to use such legal means at its disposal to protect the rights of the citizens of Bedford County to peaceably assemble, including through legal action, the power to appropriate public funds, the right to petition for redress of grievances and the power to direct the law enforcement and employees of Bedford County to not enforce any unconstitutional law, and we call upon the Sheriff to arrest and detain any state official or agent who attempts to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Bedford County, Virginia: That the Bedford County Board of Supervisors hereby declares Bedford County, Virginia, as a "First Amendment Sanctuary," and That the Bedford County Board of Supervisors hereby expresses its intent to uphold the First Amendment rights of the citizens of Bedford County, Virginia, and That the Bedford County Board of Supervisors hereby expresses its intent that public funds of the County not be used to restrict the First Amendment rights of the citizens of Bedford County, or to aid federal or state agencies in the restriction of said rights, and that the Bedford County Board of Supervisors will not authorize or appropriate government funds, resources, employees, agencies, contractors, buildings, detention centers, or offices for the purpose of enforcing laws that unconstitutionally infringe on any of the people's constitutional rights, and that the Bedford County Board of Supervisors hereby declares its intent to oppose any infringement on the right of law-abiding citizens to peaceably assemble using such legal means as may be expedient, including, without limitation, court action. From attempting to destroy the right to keep and bear arms, the right to assemble, the right to due process, and nearly the entire Bill of Rights, Governor Ralph Northam has proven himself a tyrant.
