Fellow Members of the King George TEA Party:
.
As you will recall your history, the 'real' American independence day occurred the day of the Lexington-Concord battle on 19 April 1775. I warmly welcome you to read an account of those days as written by Paul Revere's pen. Many thanks to Bob for sending this.
Letter from Paul Revere to Jeremy Belknap, circa 1798
Barbara forwarded to me an e-mail that she sent to Rob Wittman and she gave me permission to share it with the larger Membership. Like her, I am frustrated with how election integrity is being systematically compromised. Please consider crafting your personal thoughts on the matter and sharing them with all of our elected leaders.

Dear Sir:I am a frail, old grandma who likes to sit in my chair and knit, but now I'm MAD AS HELL! ( And I don't use that word loosely.) Gov. Northam has recently rescinded all voter ID laws in Va. According to this new situation anyone can vote. My vote will be diluted and, therefore, negated by people who vote several times using different names, illegal aliens, any alien, people who are brought in from other states and counties, convicted felons, etc. This goes against my rights as a citizen of the U.S.A. I hope this action is blatantly unconstitutional. A person should have to prove that he is a U.S.A. citizen and a legal resident of his county and state before he is allowed to vote. How much longer are we going to allow the Progressives (i.e. Communists) to take our government away from us. According to the founding fathers our government is supposed to do what the people want, not rule the people. Whenever you hear a politician say we must control the people you know he's a Communist. We need to do something decisive NOW! Attacking this as unconstitutional will take too long. The governor seems to fear the people, so rallies and marches might work. A deluge of mail might have some effect. You, personally, need to bring this to the attention of the media. Get it publicized. Get Trump to help. The longer this action stands, the harder it will be to get rid of it.Thank you for your work as our Congressman. Keep up the good work. Let me know how I can help in this cause.Sincerely yours,BarbaraP. S. Maybe we should take W. Va. up on their offer after all.

I received a letter from Delegate Margaret Ransone and a couple of passages from it were quite disturbing. They, too, support Barbara's perspective above. If you do not receive Delegate Ransone's e-mails I encourage you to get on her e-mail distro list. She provides a wealth of information from Richmond. Here is just one passage from that e-mail:

"While a couple of these bills will be beneficial to our Commonwealth, the bulk of them will lessen the integrity of the ballot box.For example, the Democrats absolutely gutted Virginia's popular voter ID law, and they have no answer for what voters should do if someone casts a vote in their name, other than 'call the police.'"

On another subject, I warmly welcome you to view Nelson Velez' YouTube video. As you are probably aware, Nelson Velez is the Chairman of Virginia TEA Party. The video is quite informative and worth the time to take it in.

TEA Party / Nationalism Movement
From the top article below:
"'The current protests are because of government overreaching and infringing on our rights,' said Tea Party Patriots founder Jenny Beth Martin. 'The protests are an extension of what the Tea Party movement has stood for the last 11 years — constitutionally limited government, personal and economic freedom. In the time of crisis and to remain on solid ground with those whom they represent, elected officials should lean on the Constitution, not abandon it.'"

Regulation
From the top article below:
"DeMuth points out that Trump has empowered state and local governments, while enlisting the help of the private sector and cutting red tape. He has asserted federal prerogatives, but mostly as a way of keeping people in line — not abusing his power. Contrary to claims that the federal government mismanaged the early stages of the crisis — in testing, for example — DeMuth notes that departments like the FDA did exactly what they were supposed to, until Trump intervened to reduce regulations."

"'The Obama administration gave them a grant of $3.7 million, I've been hearing about that, and we've instructed that if any grant going to that area — we're looking at it, literally, about an hour ago — and also early in the morning, we will end that grant very quickly,' Trump said. "The narrative changed less than two months later and panic ensued. The lockdown came. Since then, more than 16 million workers, over 10 percent of the labor force, have filed for unemployment benefits. Most have done so not because they hate their jobs or don't want to work or (unlike in typical economic crises) because there is no demand for their efforts, but because state governments are forcefully preventing them from working."

"The President correctly made the accusation. John Kerry violated the Act many times in recent years, and If the Act was ever enforced, Kerry would be spending time in a federal penitentiary. During interviews to promote his book in Sept. 2018, Kerry told an interviewer that he met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif three or four times since leaving office and that their talks touched on the international nuclear agreement which Kerry negotiated, and President Trump killed ( because it was such a bad deal for America).
