Robert– You know what drives us crazy? Attacks on the First Amendment, which seem to be everywhere - on college campuses, on social platforms, etc. This week, Project Veritas revealed that Pinterest has joined other tech giants in shadow-banning conservatives and labelling their content "pornographic," "sensitive" and "harmful." And now, Pinterest has banned Live Action, while other tech companies are censoring Project Veritas' story about... tech companies censoring conservatives. These companies are abusing their power and deliberately discriminating against conservatives - most likely to affect the 2020 election, and it's got to stop.
Thanks to groups like Project Veritas, the rotten core and malevolent intent of these Silicon Valley giants has been revealed. However, a frightening trend in America's overall culture of promoting censorship and trampling free speech rights is metastasizing. Conservatives have a responsibility to reign in the liberal radicalization threatening our engrained constitutional rights. Conservatives must act now before it's too late.
We hope you got a chance to take part in our nationwide flag waving event! Don't forget to post your pictures on social media using #FlagDay. Happy Birthday, Old Glory!
Former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has been appointed to the position of Acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services this week. We strongly support his new role, particularly at a time when our border is in crisis. We hope that in his new position, he will work to secure the border and apply the rule of law.
One year ago this week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) reversed the Obama-era "net neutrality" policy which essentially allowed the government to regulate the Internet. "Net neutrality" had a nice ring to it, just as "fairness" and "equality" do. Why would you want "net neutrality?" In reality, net neutrality regulations gave the FCC the ability to shape "media policy, social policy, oversight of the political process, [and] issues of free speech." It was an over-reaching, antiquated and burdensome policy. Jenny Beth Martin wrote an op-ed in Breitbart explaining that without the government regulating it, the Internet can be a competitive, open and innovative tool. When the government gets out of the way, the free market can thrive and that's one thing the Trump administration understands. Leave it to the absolute mess that is the D.C. Swamp to launch spending to new heights. Thanks to unelected bureaucrats and a clueless Congress, the federal deficit is higher than its ever been. Spending is also up, to the tune of $3 trillion for the first quarter of 2019. That number is simply unheard of.... Joining the tea party movement seemed like a natural move for Regina Thomson. She was inspired and energized by the Rick Santelli rant. With her conservative beliefs, and with the uncertain political climate, she decided to join the tea party movement.... Balancing the government budget is a tough issue. How are lawmakers handling it? By coming up with unnecessary projects to increase more spending, of course. The Hill has the details:... Once again, California puts the interest of illegal immigrants over its own citizens. The state will become the first state in the country to pay for illegal immigrants to have full health benefits. California's Medicaid, "Medi-Cal," will pay for tens of thousands of illegal immigrants with costs estimated to be about $98 million per year.... Obviously, the big news of the week on the immigration/border security front is the announcement Friday evening by President Trump that Mexico had agreed to take significant steps to shut down illegal immigration across our southern border,...
