Dear Friends, Several of my bills will be before subcommittees tomorrow morning starting at 7:00 AM! Sanctuary Cities - HB 481 will close a loophole that allows local law enforcement create de facto sanctuary cities when Immigration and Customs Enforcement cannot pick up illegal aliens arrested for other crimes by the required time limit. This legislation will be heard by the Militia, Police and Public Safety (MPPS) Subcommittee #2 at 7:30 AM tomorrow, Thursday, January 21st. CTB Meeting in Region - HB 384 would require that the Commonwealth Transportation Board meet on issues involving certain regions in the region that will be affected.
