KGTP - Breaking News - DEMs trying to change recall petition requirements

Fellow Members of the King George TEA Party:
.
This afternoon one of our members, Bob, sent me an e-mail highlighting what the Democrats are trying to do in this new legislative session.  I will let Bob's e-mail speak for itself as it is included below.  Below the e-mail is some content describing what they are trying to do, a link to the VirginiaConservatives.net website for the Recall Northam petition, and an earlier e-mail describing what they are trying to do.

As Bob indicates, this is tyranny as it is changing the rules without public comment on how government should be kept in check.  If We The People Of Virginia have a grievance against our elected leaders, a verified call of 10% has historically been the benchmark for initiating action against said individual.  This benchmark should remain until WE THE PEOPLE OF VIRGINIA SAY OTHERWISE, i.e., it should be on an election ballot for decision.

Keep this in mind as you visit our elected officials in Richmond this Monday.

Jim,

DEMs trying to change recall petition requirements from 10% to 25% of the total votes cast in last election.

2017 VA Gov election -  there were 2,614,282 total votes.

DEMs have entered "tyranny" region.  It feels like 1770 again.

Petition for the Recall of Governor Ralph Northam

Today we are faced with the possible destruction of our God given and constitutionally protected rights in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

But we are not going to back down, we are not going to quietly submit, and instead fight back using every means at our disposal.

The Virginia State Constitution provides a means to recall an elected official, even the Governor, for a trial in the Circuit Court, determining if the official has violated their oath of office.

The Virginia State Constitution is very clear, in Article 13 it states-

'That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.'

In his efforts to disarm law abiding citizens, Governor 'Radical Ralph' Northam has clearly violated his oath of office.

We need 405,000 signatures to enact the recall procedure, so we desperately need your help to reach that number.

If you are not willing to submit to tyranny in the state that secured our liberty, you need to act today!

Please sign the petition below and share it with all of your friends:

Whereas, The 13th Article of the Virginia State Constitution declares that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; and

Whereas, The Virginia State Code, sections 24.2-233 to 24.2-238 provides for the recall of Governor Ralph Northam; and

Whereas, Governor Ralph Northam has declared his intent to violate Article 13 of the Virginia State Constitution ;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, We, the undersigned citizens of the great Commonwealth of Virginia, refuse to permit Governor Northam to violate his oath of office and the State Constitution.

Be it further resolved, We, the undersigned citizens of the great Commonwealth of Virginia exercise our right to demand a recall trial of Governor Ralph Northam.

Fellow Patriots,

We have reached over 31,000 signatures on the Petition to Recall Radical Ralph Northam for his violation of Article 13 of the Virginia State Constitution!!
And it is because of you.

We are still adding signatures from various events we have attended as well.

One quick note, it seems there is another petition running on the left leaning website change.org.  This is indeed a left leaning site, and the owners will not only use the information gathered against you, they will also sell your email address to spammers.

So if you do not want your email address being used against liberty or being sold to spammers, I would suggest you do not sign any petition on change.org.

Please forward this email to all of your friends and family who support the 2nd Amendment and ask them to also sign the petition linked here.

We are facing the greatest threat to your gun rights since the British invaded in 1781.  It really is that simple.

Pushing Red Flag of Tyranny Gun Confiscation Laws, Universal Gun Registration (Universal Background Checks), banning semi automatic center-fire weapons and pistols that weigh too much, the far left radicals led by Northam are going to do all they can to destroy both the 2nd Amendment and the Virginia State Constitution.

Which is why it is vital you share this email with your friends and urge them to sign our petition at this link.

Bloomberg, Soros and the gun grabbers are pouring millions into Virginia to pass these draconian laws, and we need all the help we can get.

But I also have some great news to tell you.  Last week we had found that fake conservatives Delegates Bobby Orrock (R-54) and Glenn Davis (R-84) had joined with the anti-gunners and had introduced two anti-gun bills in the State Legislature.  Quickly we mobilized to demand they withdraw both House Bill 142 and House Bill 192.  We sent out thousands of phone calls and emails and within 24 hours, Delegate Orrock had publicly announced he was withdrawing House Bill 192.  However Davis has disconnected several of his telephone numbers to avoid being called and told he must support the 2nd Amendment as written.  But we are doubling our efforts and are chasing down more contact information for him.

If you want to find out more on this effort, and the efforts to stop all anti-gun legislation in Richmond, click on this link to find out how to join our Virginia Minuteman Political Program.

In the meantime, we will keep you updated weekly on status of the petition drive and what else you can do to preserve our freedom in Virginia.

In Liberty,

PS-If you support the 2nd Amendment and the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, please forward our petition to Recall Radical Ralph Northam and urge fellow Virginia patriots to join us in this effort.
