The Mueller investigation, now in its third year, has turned from a Russian collusion inquiry into an all-purpose fishing expedition designed to elicit evidence – any evidence – to warrant impeaching President Trump.
Best-selling author Dr. Jerome Corsi, who has written extensively about the Deep State's antipathy toward anyone not on the Left, has become a target who is fighting back.
On January 22, Larry Klayman, counsel for Dr. Corsi, announced that he filed an Amended Complaint on his client's behalf against Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the Department of Justice and the FBI, intelligence agencies, Washington Post owner and CEO Jeff Bezos and Post reporter Manuel Roig-Franzia.
The suit alleges that they "have acted and continue to act in concert to coerce, extort and blackmail Dr. Corsi into providing false testimony under oath to the Special Counsel with the design to indict and/or remove President Donald J. Trump from his duly elected office," according to Dr. Corsi's website, corsination.com.
The Amended Complaint alleges unlawful violations of the Fourth Amendment, the USA Freedom Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, grand jury secrecy laws under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, as well as tortious interference with business relations and defamation.
Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D., formerly served as Washington Bureau Chief for Infowars.com. Dr. Corsi worked for 12 years as a Senior Staff Reporter for WND.com, previously World Net Daily, from 2004 through January 2017.
Since 2004, Dr. Corsi has published more than 20 books, six of which were New York Times Best Sellers. Two of his books reached the top of the list, ranking No. 1 on the New York Times non-fiction book list: "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry," co-authored in 2004 with John O'Neill, and "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality" in 2008.
In 1968, Dr. Corsi received a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio, where he majored in political science and economics. In 1972, he received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University.
