Bake the Cake

Robert,   These are dangerous times for our country and the Commonwealth of Virginia.   Last year, we learned that a private company could be forced by government to do something against the religious beliefs of its owners.   Government told a small bakery to violate their conscience and "BAKE THE CAKE," and effectively put them out of business when they refused.   I thought this was the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!   And now... here in our very own Virginia, our state government is trying to tell churches that they must perform weddings in opposition to their religious beliefs.   Folks, this has got to stop here. Thankfully, a bill has been introduced into the Virginia legislature to protect the religious liberty of churches. The First Amendment was inspired by Thomas Jefferson and written by James Madison, Father of the Constitution. Virginia led the fight for religious liberty.    The time has come again to STAND and fight to preserve our most fundamental freedoms.   It's time to tell the extremists who do not respect religious liberty, like Mark Herring and Terry MacAuliffe, to stop this NOW.   Our religious freedom is at stake!   Your contribution of $25 or $50 will help us organize calls, emails, letters and rally to protect religious freedom here in Virginia.
