KGTP Meeting Tonight 14 November

Fellow Tea Party Patriots,

The next meeting of the King George Tea Party will take place tonight, 14 October, at 7:00PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church.  We look forward to our recurring discussions of county business with the school board and board of supervisor attendees.  For anyone wanting to learn more about what is happening in the county, but without the time to attend all of the school board and board of supervisors meetings, this is a great opportunity to stay informed.

Tonight, our guest speaker will be Tom Jeffries, chairman of the Northern Neck Patriots (NNP).  Part of his discussion will be an update on the work that the NNP has done in supporting those incarcerated following the January 6 Protests.  As part of the activities this evening, there are planned calls with recently released and currently incarcerated participants in the January 6th events.  This evening's activities should be informative.  Please feel free to attend to hear these first hand accounts.

Given the recent election, I'm certain that there will be plenty to talk about related what has happened both at a national and local level.  I believe there is both much to be grateful for, and more progress to be made.  Thank you for all of your hard work in helping to make your homes, your county a better place to live.

Please see attached for this month's agenda and we look forward to seeing you tonight.

Respectfully,
The King George Tea Party

The American People are Ready for Progress

Image

November 8, 2024

Dear Friend,

Welcome back to my Week in Review newsletter. Please remember to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube for regular updates on how I am serving the people of South Carolina!

Congratulations to President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance on their historic victory! I am looking forward to working with this administration, as well as my Senate Republican colleagues, to get our country back on track. The last four years have been disastrous for the American people but I am certain that, together, we will turn things around and build towards a better future.

“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord.”

Week in Review

The American People are Ready for Progress

I am always proud to represent the great state of South Carolina, and even prouder to represent a state where the voices of its people are heard at the ballot box. Under the Biden-Harris administration, hardworking Americans struggle to put food on the table, fill up their gas tank, and feel safe within our communities. It’s clear that South Carolinians–and the American people–are ready for progress: progress that prioritizes safety, strengthens our economy, and ensures that everyone has the opportunity to thrive. This incoming administration and Senate Republicans are committed to restoring the security, affordability, and safety for American families. I look forward to making the American Dream attainable again.

Jewish News Syndicate: Senators warn of impending action if UN halts Israel’s participation in General Assembly

November 5, 2024

Eleven senators sent a letter to Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, warning of various actions should a Palestinian effort move forward to remove Israel from the U.N. General Assembly.

“Israel is America’s closest ally in the Middle East, a geopolitically critical region,” the senators wrote on Monday. “The effort to diplomatically isolate Israel is aimed at ultimately destroying the Jewish state, which is both obscene and antithetical to American national security interests.”

Signatories included Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Rick Scott (R-Fla.), Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Pete Ricketts (R-Neb.), Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), Tim Scott (R-S.C.) Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.).
