36 Days To Go!
A message for all!
Early Voting/ Election Season Began Friday 22 Sept
It has been an honor representing you in House District 56. I have learned a lot, solved many problems as a team, and continue to make many new friends across the district. Thank you Governor Glenn Youngkin for including me and Senator Siobhan Dunnavant in your discussion about the budget on WRVA Jeff Katz Show (click here).
Early Voting Locations Senate District 10
I have visited all of the Senate District 10 Early Voting In-Person locations since early voting began Friday September 22. Click here to see where you can vote early where you live in SD 10. Please spread the word.
McGuire Brothers Share Ballot/ Who's On Your Ballot?
My very capable and also "no nonsense" fellow veteran brother, Louisa County Commonwealth Attorney Rusty McGuire, is one of the hardest working and genuine people I know. It is a huge honor to be on the ballot with him this year. Recently he made the news for successfully prosecuting a murder case others thought was unsolvable.

Rusty's quote:

“Twenty years ago, she would have gotten away with murder,” Louisa Commonwealth Attorney Rusty McGuire told Law&Crime in a phone interview Friday. “The victim may have fit the stereotype in the sense that he had never had much income, just did tree work and kind of looked a bit rough, and she’s just this little old lady who said he attacked her, choked her, and she had no choice but to shoot him.”

Go to www.vpap.org and enter your address to find out who's on your ballot, where to vote, and more.
Chris Lacivita
You can never have enough Marines around. It is good to be working with the very capable and fellow veteran Chris Lacivita again. He is the senior advisor to the Trump campaign. After November 7, I will be more involved helping him with the Trump 2024 campaign!
Congratulations Hanover Supervisor Sue Dibble
Governor Glenn Youngkin has appointed my friend South Anna District Supervisor Sue Dibble to the Virginia Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Certified Interior Designers and Landscape Architects. If you didn’t know, Ms. Dibble has a degree in landscape architecture along with extensive experience in design, construction and business management. Congratulations Supervisor Sue Dibble!
Congratulations Louisa County!
It has been a huge honor serving the people of Louisa County over the last six years. We continue to make a lot of friends. When knocking doors in Louisa you find out real quick they have a lot of patriotism. I'm looking forward to continuing to serve you in the State Senate!
Goochland High School Veteran Project
Our men and women in the military give up their life liberty and pursuit of happiness so that all Americans can have life liberty and pursuit of happiness. Thank you Goochland High School for each year honoring my fellow Goochland County veterans!
First Goochland County Senator in History!
This week we moved to our new House of Delegates office in the all new General Assembly building located on Broad Street. God willing, we will win in November, swear in in January, and then continue doing the people's work in a Senate office when I become the first State Senator in history to represent Goochland County who actually lives in Goochland County. Thanks to you, we won Goochland County by a huge margin at the May 6 Convention!
Rally Virginia
Rooz Dadabhoy and Rally Virginia are working hard to help qualified Republicans win in November. These folks worked tirelessly to help elect Governor Glenn Youngkin, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears, and Attorney General Jason Miyares. We are now all working hard to get a majority in the State Senate and the House of Delegates. It is very important we get Senator Siobhan Dunavant re-elected, and we help elect David Owen and Riley Shaia to the House of Delegates. As Governor Glenn Youngkin says, we "must lock arms" and win in November. Because, right now, that is all that matters!
Re-elect Tommy Branin Supervisor
Supervisor Tommy Branin is effective at getting things done and he is one of the hardest workers for the people I know. Please ask your friends to vote to re-elect my friend Tommy Branin for Supervisor in Henrico County!
The Family Foundation Gala
Delegate Scott Wyatt and David Owens for Delegate are everywhere on the campaign trail.
Mark Early for Delegate
The John Reid Show is everywhere!
Senator Ryan McDoogle
Johnathan Lyle for Goochland. Supervisor!
Former Governor and Ambassador Jim Gilmore
Former AG Mark Early
I had a wonderful time with friends at the Annual Family Foundation Gala. Angela Allen Goochland School Board was recognized for showing courage to do the right thing by sharing school policies with parents! It was an honor to sit at the table with John Whitlock of Louisa, David Barrett, and others.
Amelia
Powhatan
Prince Edward
I noticed my name on several sample ballots posted on the wall in Prince Edward County!
Appomattox
We had fun knocking doors and making new friends in Appomattox County with Rich Gehan for School Board.
Louisa
Fluvanna
Cumberland
If you live in Cumberland County, please consider voting this Fall for these two good men!
Goochland
I stopped by the Goochland GOP tent and the Republican Goochland Tea Party tent this week. Here is a lesson/ example why it recommended legislators stay out of local elections:

2 Independents: We all know choice is the American way. I love you regardless of who you support, but I do not love bullying tactics. We all know politics is messy. In case you didn't know, there are two candidates running for Goochland Commonwealth Attorney. Upfront, I respect whatever choice you make and I have friends on both sides. Emotions are high and I've tried staying out of this thing, but it is getting ridiculous. These two candidates include the Republican incumbent Mike Caudill, now running as an independent, who is running against John Lumpkins, also running as an independent. It is our prerogative to endorse whoever we want, but so far I have not endorsed either candidate. That said, the same team of people running one campaign are the same team of people who ran my opponents campaign at the convention and the same people who thought it was a good idea to tell everyone I was a liberal democrat. Obviously people are smart and it didn't work, because we had a record win with 63% of the vote in a four way race on the first ballot. Unfortunately, these folks will say or do anything to get your vote because they are smarter than you. Go figure, they are now calling the current Republican incumbent commonwealth attorney a democrat, they are also saying he will defund the police, and they have called me on the phone and threatened to remove my signs because I told them I'm staying out of it and I said I will not endorse their candidate. How crazy can you get? By the way, I said no problem and we put those signs in another place. And on top of all of that they have now resorted to calling me names, I guess to get me to do what they want? Are we back in high school? Isn't this the behavior we see every day all over the media from Democrats? If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, let them know. If you have a better candidate just run on policy and character not intimidation. This behavior is childish and more than embarrassing. I have no idea who will win this race, but I've heard it said how you campaign is how you will govern.
Hanover
Buckingham
Buckingham County is geographically the center of Virginia. I've been told Buckingham is also Trump Country. We appreciate all the candidates for stepping up to run. Thanks to you we won Buckingham big at the Convention!
Hanover Rally
Thank you Jeff Stoneman for Beaverdam Supervisor and your wife Gayle for hosting the Rally Hanover event at the Shalom House Retreat. We had a wonderful time!
State Fair
I want to thank Rich Anderson and the Republican Party of Virginia for showcasing fellow Republican signs at the State Fair and working so hard to help campaigns across our Commonwealth. Together we will win in November!
Events
Doubling Down
As I said before, most 5th members are professional. Sadly, those few grifters in the 5th Congrssional District Republican committee including a few in leadership I mentioned a week or so ago are doubling down by continuing to publicly take pot shots at me and acting a fool. They should be going after democrats and helping republicans. The good news is we are going to win despite them!

My priority is defeating democrats and doing everything we can to preserve our republic for future generations; "We the people". I am full of energy and I am having a lot of fun getting things done for you. My advice is be "numb to the dumb", keep it positive, and stay focused on the mission. Our mission is winning the House and flipping the Senate in November because, right now, that is all that matters!

Don't forget early voting began Friday September 22. Please consider supporting Governor Youngkin's effort to "Secure Your Vote". Take care, please spread the word, and I look forward to seeing you around the District!
